CASA BELLAVISTA, CALAHONDA. This is one of our most popular apartments with clients returning each year because it has something for everyone!. Located in a quiet residential area but close enough to enjoy what this stunning coastline has to offer, makes it the perfect vacation for families and friends. Offering excellent and spacious accommodation, stunning views, a large terrace for outdoor living (even in the winter!) and proximity to beaches, golf courses, tourist sites and so much more, we understand completely why people love it! The apartment is in a small and pretty block surrounded by lovely gardens and communal pool which is open all year. There is a large living room/dining room with direct access to the beautiful terrace. The private terrace has BBQ, cosy seating area, table and chairs for dining alfresco, which you can do almost all year, and a fantastic jacuzzi. There are also 2 great bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen has fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Everything that you could need to enjoy a perfect vacation.
Pets are not allowed at this apartment.
Calahonda is situated between Marbella and Fuengirola. This beautiful area provides an excellent base for exploring the Costa del Sol.
Located a couple of kilometres along the road is Puerto Cabopino, which has the reputation for being the most secluded and picturesque port on the Costa del Sol and is a popular venue for tourists who want to enjoy a good meal before taking a walk along its sandy beaches. Some of the Coasts most popular restaurants are located here.
Nearby you’ll discover Miraflores, a popular golf and lawn bowls resort and a little further on, you come to the area of Mijas and Mijas Pueblo, one of Andalusia’s most popular white village, which is situated slightly further northeast in the hills. On a clear day you should be able to see the whole coast from here, including Africa and Gibraltar.
Calahonda has a beach-side area, which has a lovely long stretch of sandy beach and a number of pretty villas and urbanizations which back the beach area. There are a number of Chiringuitos (beach restaurants) dotted along the beach where you can eat fresh fish caught that very morning.
Close by are the natural sand dunes at Cabopino and if you are looking for a beach resort with more facilities, then head in either direction, left or right and you will come to one of the popular destinations of Fuengirola (to the left) and Marbella (to the right), where you have great beaches and leisure facilities galore.
The main area of Calahonda, has many restaurants and shops, with the best options for shopping, dining and entertainment, located in the El Zoco commercial centre in Calahonda. There is also the excellent Club del Sol which features a gym, tennis, paddle, swimming pool and aerobics.
The gastronomy in this part of the Coast is 100% international with influences from all over the globe – British fish and chips, Hungarian goulash, Japanese sushi, Italian pasta and pizza, whatever takes your fancy, it’s available. You could eat a different cuisine every night of your holiday! But do not forget to try the local Spanish cuisine which is one of the best!
Calahonda’s local fiestas provides visitors with the opportunity to sample the pleasant Spanish tradition of Churros, a fried and battered dough, which is generally served with a cup of thick hot chocolate, in which the Churros are dunked – delicious!
Being one of the smaller urbanisations on the coast, there are few large nightclubs, but there is a choice of smaller venues which are busy with visitors all evening until about 3am.
Calahonda enjoys a sub-tropical Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and warm winters. Cooling breezes from the sea make the summer heat manageable; temperatures average 32 ºC during the summer.
The apartment is located approximately 2.5 km from the centre and the beaches and approximately 500 metres from the nearest bars/restaurant. We advise car rental at this apartment to make the most of the beautiful area.

THINGS TO NOTE :
-The minimum age of the person making the reservation must be 25 years.
-Although final cleaning is included in the price, we ask all clients to leave the house as they found it.
-In reduced prices for monthly rentals, electricity is NOT included.
-To fully enjoy the surroundings a car is recommended.
-Whilst you can arrive at any hour after 16.00, there is a late arrival fee for arrivals after midnight.
-There is a refundable damage deposit of 500 euros to pay on arrival.
-Monthly rentals (28 days or more) do NOT include electricity, gas bottles (if required). Electricity is charged at 0.45€/Kw.
