Katrin and I have now owned this house since 2005. We traveled around the world a lot through my job so in effect spent about 5 years actually permanently living in and enjoying the place. We have completely renovated the main house with a brand new roof and created what we find are great rooms to enjoy being in. The size of the place is a good fitness program as from pool to house is over 50m so try and remember what you wanted to take :) We enjoy life alfresco and spent many evenings on the covered terrace with good food and wine or just reading a book. In the summer the pool is a great relief and big enough to play games in such as water volley ball or just swim lengths. Deliberately kept the pool standing height 1.3m so that it is also a play pool and safer for kids. We actually built the pool with help from our great neighbours. Katrin is a qualified cook so we enjoyed entertaining our guests with high quality food and I have become over the years a bit of a low key wine buff. We moved to Berlin, Germany so that we are closer to Katrin's mum. I am a Brit but also speak German and ashamedly poor quality French. Rather than leave the place just for us as we have done for 10 years we decided to share it with others as it is a superb place to relax in and tour the region.
