Location wonderful, lovely little village. Cottage beautiful, had everything we needed. Enjoyed our week in La Noue

We spent a wonderful week staying in La Noue. The accommodation is first rate and very well equipped, lovely spaces to sit out in too. The location is ideal and very close to shops and market. Also giving easy access to the cycle paths to further explore the island. Glenda was a great host providing us with useful info before the trip. We very much appreciated her sorting out a little request we had too. All in all a wonderful space to stay on the island and we do hope to be able to return to in the future.

the cottage is secluded but still in the heart of the village with a two minute walk to the boulangerie, Offers front and rear sunbathing and well kept so perfect for relxaing. Room enough to park a car so no problems with the car on the ilse- although biking is a definite must to see the island. Wonderful stay hot and sunny and totally relaxing holiday, Owners very helpful thanks for the stay!

Wir haben hier zu viert mit zwei Kindern eine Woche Urlaub verbracht. Es ist ein schönes gemütliches Haus mit guter Ausstattung. Die Eigentümerin legt Wert auf eine qualitative Ausstattung, was auch an den Miele - Geräten in der Küche zu sehen ist. Geschlafen wird in einem Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und einer sehr guten Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Es gibt einen Vorhof, der mittels Tor verriegelt werden kann und vor ungewollten Blicken schützt. Somit kann man zum Beispiel die Fahrräder unbesorgt im Hof abstellen und auch das Fahrzeug dort parken. Der kleine Garten ist von Mauern umgeben und garantiert somit eine gemütliche Privatsphäre. Erwähnenswert ist ebenfalls die Kommunikation zur Vermieterin Glenda, die vorbildlich und kurzfristig lief. Vor Ort hilft dann Marie weiter, mit der auch eine englische Kommunikation gut möglich ist. Das Haus liegt nah am Marktplatz, so dass man sich täglich morgens mit frischen Lebensmitteln vom Markt eindecken kann. Zum Strand sind es ungefähr 5 Minuten mit dem Rad (empfehlenswert). Wir können dieses Häuschen uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

This is a lovely quality tastefully furnished holiday home a 2-3 minutes walk from the main village centre. Perfect for couples who want to relax, and spend lots of time doing very little! The cottage is well placed for exploring the island by either bike or car. There is secure off road parking for a car and bicycles. There are 3 places to eat off the village square, and the village has a range of shops and a daily market to cater for day to day needs. There is a supermarket a 5 minute bike ride away. The main beach is a 5 minute walk. We travelled with our dog, and went to the quieter end of the beach first thing in the morning and after 7pm without any problem. Even though it was over 30 degrees every day during our stay, the cottage was easy to keep relatively cool. There are private sunbathing areas at the back and front of the cottage. The owner and her agent were available throughout the stay if required. We had a great time and did not want to come home.
