I was faced with the challenge of looking for a holiday that would suit my ten year old son, my eighteen year old niece, myself and my sister and our parents who are in their seventy's. Pixie Place came through on all counts. It provided us with the perfect base for LEGOLAND, Windsor and London. Everyone was catered for. In addition, the house itself is in a stunning location and is so very peaceful. The deck area at the back sits on a stunning part of the Thames and provides a sanctuary after a busy day. (It's also very good for relaxing all day). We chose not to hire a car, and the house is a twenty minute walk to any shops. This is easily sorted out by organising a supermarket delivery on arrival. Windsor cars provided an excellent taxi service and the prices were very fair. The hosts were very attentive in that they tried to phone me a couple of times to check we were happy. Unfortunately I missed them, but was able to contact them by e-mail anytime and always got a very prompt response. I couldn't fault Pixie Place. It's a little bit of paradise placed perfectly in a location for all ages. Thanks to Nael and Angela for their extremely helpful, supportive and efficient booking and enquiry system. Not one bit of stress from beginning to end.

Great house that suited our needs well being in an ideal location for exploring Windsor and taking the train into London. Nael and Angela are very helpful and caring owners.

Perfect home base for family holiday

We are a family of 4 and were looking for a central, but comfortable, place to start our UK holiday. Pixie Place was ideal for those of us heading in to Windsor and London - including evening shows - and for those who wanted to hang out sometimes instead. Well-appointed with lots of nice touches &amp; great recommendations by the owners &amp; property manager - a real attention to detail all through our stay. We hope to be back!

Superb Accommodation in Windsor

Pixie Place is perfect for couples with babies wanting to explore Windsor &amp; the surrounding areas including London but who don't want the inconvenience, noise, congestion, lack of parking &amp; general disturbances of being located right in the town centre. Pixie Place offers the best of both worlds...a peaceful &amp; pretty countryside private &amp; secure location but only a few minutes' drive into the hustle &amp; bustle of Windsor town centre. This house is fantastic... it's on the river Thames with fabulous views, its clean, comfortable &amp; well furnished &amp; decorated. It is quiet with a large private walled garden &amp; outdoor seating area on raised decking, secure parking, gardens to walk around BUT only a couple of minutes drive into Windsor town centre. It was also very easy to travel into London by either bus or train (we did both). There is also a the Royal Windsor farm shop nearby selling all sorts of local produce. We managed to take long a and lovely walks with our babies in their pushchairs...we walked from Pixie Place into Windsor Town centre, along the Mile Walk towards the Castle, to the Farm shop on the outskirts of the castle grounds and to the country pub off the tow path. For families with babies, the cot was high quality and the chair looked great quality too but didn't use it as our little ones are too young. The owners were really welcoming, the information pack was also really useful giving opening times, directions, prices etc for loads of local things like local restaurants, local shops, Windsor Castle, River Thames Boat Rides, Windsor Open top bus tours, horse &amp; carriage rides through Windsor Great Park, and the Theatre Royal in Windsor. Just one of the small but really thoughtful things that really made a big difference. This was the first time we have reserved a holiday through a website and did so with some trepidation but there was no need for us to be concerned, even our deposit against damages was offered back to us within an hour of us leaving! Perfect place to stay in Windsor whether you're single, a couple or a family with children. Highly recommended and we cant wait to go back.

Charming and Fabulous!

This home was perfect in every way. Our family of five - with older children - were able to find space to spend alone and together. Well appointed and secluded in a charming neighborhood. The solarium and deck on the river were perfect for relaxing when we were't sight-seeing in Windsor and London. The swans swam right up to the bank to greet us every day! I highly recommend this property.

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful week at Pixie Place. The house is welcoming and comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect, and situated in beautiful surroundings. We spent most of the week exploring the surrounding areas and enjoyed days out in Windsor, Legoland, Windsor Castle, Virginia Water, Savill Garden and central London. The house is ideally placed in a quiet location with easy access into Windsor (by car) and London (train from Windsor central to Paddington via Slough). There are lovely walks along the Thames at the back of the house, and beautiful parks and gardens a short drive away. The owners have provided plenty of leaflets if you are looking for ideas for days out, and helpfully provided local takeaway &amp; restaurant details/menus (a lifesaver after 5 hours in a car with 4 young children). I would definitely recommend Pixie Place as a base to explore Windsor and London, and hope to visit again.

Firstly I must say that the pictures do not do this exquisite and luxurious house justice. Our week here in this most comfortable and well appointed property made us almost feel we didn't want to leave to do the sightseeing trips we has pre-planned.

We have arranged to bring our grandchildren next year for the Lego land attraction so we can spend more leisure time lazing around the decking while watching the swans and ducks popping into the garden for a feed or the boats passing by which were glorious sights especially while the sun was shining enabling us to dine on the large decking area set out with accompanying dining furniture.

The house itself was impeccably clean and we were impressed with the way the owner dealt with our booking. The booking was completed with in just a couple of emails, any questions were responded to almost immediately and our deposit was returned to us on the evening of our departure.

Also, information about the house, info about local shops/restaurants and directions were a great help.

This was a pleasurable experience from booking to receiving our deposit back and will be definitely be back in 2015.

We were delighted on arrival at the beautiful location and surroundings. Once inside Pixie Place the feeling of space and luxurious decor was more than expected. The views from the decking and conservatory over the river Thames was outstanding. .. It truly felt like home and we soon settled in.

We were amazed at how well equipped this house is and lacked nothing. The owners decked out the study area with a whole selection of sight seeing and timetable info which we found really useful and dealing with the owners was an easy process, even receiving our deposit back before we'd even reached home. For the more outdoor types there are amazing walks and runs which I discovered just down the lane.

Lego land is a mere 10 min drive from Pixie Place and so is Windsor Castle.

We truly found this house to be as good as our own home and more which is a very rare attribute. We will definitely be returning and have recommended Pixie Place to our friends and family

I don't ordinarily write reviews, though I felt it would be only fair to give other prospective visitors an insight.

Set in the quiet of Windsor, by the banks of the riverside Pixie Place is a haven of modernity and relaxtion.

I visited with my extended family for a week in June of this year. We had a lovely , stress free and enjoyable 7 days. Only upset with knowing we had to leave on the Saturday.

It was so enjoyable I have booked for not only next year, but for a week in the future years there after.

I cannot recommend Pixie Place strongly enough. If you want quality, light, space to move around, comfort, and modern living without the bling then look no further.
Very rarely do you come across 5 genuine stars , well now you can.
Book it you wont be disappointed
