Poorly equipped, badly maintained and dirty.  The villa was not as advertised.  The agent we were given didn’t communicate with us at all and we had to send a number of emails and make a lot of phone calls before we got a response about our check in.  On arrival the villa wasn’t very clean and all facilities were very basic.  The pool and garden of the villa are overlooked from all angles and the next door neighbours terrace is a matter of metres away.  On our fourth night there was heavy rain, the roof leaked and all the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom were flooded with 2 - 3 inches of water.  We spent around 6 hours mopping and clearing up to prevent any further damage to the villa or our belongings.  The leaks were caused by poorly maintained and blocked drains.   The area of El Raso is very nice but the amount of mosquitoes made it almost impossible to sit outside and night.
