We rented the villa as our wedding anniversary weekend - we wanted a nice break away from freezing cold england - and thats what we got!!!! Arriving after midnight it was nice to see the pathway to the villa doorway well lit. The villa is so spacious, was light and airy, clean and tidy and so very peaceful. After a good nights sleep in comfy beds we were up early - blue skies greeted us. Exploring the house i found the kitchen really well equipped - nice coffee machine, big fridge and freezer, dishwasher etc, cupboards were well stocked with loads of good quality crockery, pots and pans and cooking utensils - and best of all, plenty of glasses and picnic/outdoor tableware. whilst there we visited a local beach about 10 mins drive away - absolutely stunning, had a trip to obidos and really enjoyed local delicacies. This house sleeps 8 people comfortably in spacious bedrooms, all overlooking the lake and garden and all have balconies, the bathrooms in the hous have bath and showers with good water pressure. Plenty of space downstairs in the huge living room and a lovely dining room. Nice outdoor soace with garden, swimming pool and patio area with outdoor table and seating and sun loungers - will be great when its sunny and warm to sit out by the pool, fire the bbq up and eat outside under the stars - we will be back!!!!

We stayed in the villa last week of November with two other couples, and although it was out of season it was the perfect time for us as the weather was still great but not too hot and we just wanted a nice relaxing week. The villa is amazing, and so well equipped we spent most of our nights there as we didn't want to leave and even though the nights were warm we had the log burner on just because it was so nice. The area is great, we had a few days on the beaches watching the surfers and a few days playing golf. This was our first visit to the silver coast but we are already looking at booking the same time next year

I stayed at the villa for a week in early November. I wasn't expecting such a fantastic place!  The villa is huge and is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. I loved waking up every morning to the gorgeous views. I ate in every evening, making the most of kitchen!  The surrounding areas are just stunning. Beautiful beaches and forests in every direction.  

We have stayed in the area before no knew the location. Bom Successo is a quiet resort - about 15 mins from the nearest supermarket. This villa is super, really stunning. Better than it looks in the photos. It is also really well equipped - the kitchen has everything you need and more. What we really loved about the villa, having kids was that you could see the kids in the pool from every room (except the loo and 1 bathroom!). As the garden goes out to the little lake you can spot frogs and fish, nice view of the golf course. WIFI was great and pool heated to a fab temperature. (There is nothing worse than a chilly pool). The owner employs an efficient management company locally and the owner themselves very helpful. Villa was very clean. Little Golf club house - we walked up there for a drink or lunch - about 15 minutes walk, 5 mins in the car. Would love to return. We were 4 adults and 3 kids aged 8,8 and 5.

We stayed two weeks in this beautiful house, very well equipped and very pleasant. It was perfect for our two families (2 adults and 2 children). The owner is also very nice, he answered many questions of organization in a very short time . Obidos environments have been our favorite holiday ... Nous sommes restés deux semaines dans cette superbe maison, très bien équipée et très agréable à vivre. C'était idéal pour nos deux familles (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Le propriétaire est également très gentil, il a répondu à de nombreuses questions d'organisation, dans des délais très rapides. Les environnements de Obidos ont été nos préférés des vacances ...

One of the most amazing places we have stayed. This is truly a five star property. Quality furnishings and amazing views. The pool and outdoors area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying wonderful dinners. 10 minutes drive to Obidos village, one of the prettiest towns I have ever seen. Would defiantly return here in the future. Plenty of room for 2 families to stay here. You will need a car and it is a little drive to restaurants and supermarkets etc. The resort was a quiet but just how we like it, this place is a perfect retreat, especially if you wish to avoid the hectic hotels in the summer months! The owner sorted one issue within hours. Great service and a great place.

We stayed two weeks in Villa do Lago (Bom Sucesso) and we loved it. A very nice and modern house with everything you need in it. We visited every day the beach near by (20 minutes drive) and in the evening we used the pool, especially the kids. We would come back again every time.

Our family (2 adults with 2 adult children, 2 young children and 1 baby) spent 3 lovely weeks in August/September 2013 in this wonderful villa. The villa is very spacious for our large family, as well as very bright, fully equipped and well maintained. The kitchen had everything necessary, so we spent most of the evenings cooking and eating in rather than going out to restaurants. The kids enjoyed the pool and the garden area. The location is ideal, the area of the golf resort is pleasant and peaceful, the resort is relatively close to the beach, and even if you come without a car, the golf resort provides a shuttle bus that goes to the beach regularly. However, to see the surroundings, such as Obidos, Foz do Arelho, Caldas, Penich, Sao Martinho etc., it is advisable to rent a car. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We had an unforgettable great holiday and would highly recommend staying in this villa.
