As usual our stay in Dragonfly Cottage in Rothbury was just like going home, everything you need is in the cottage except for Sky TV which we would be prepared to pay extra for this facility. Even saying that we will still be going next year.

Excellent cottage, comfortable, spotlessly clean,everything one wants for an enjoyable holiday.Lovely area with plenty of walks around the cottage and would recommend to friends &amp; family to stay here. Loved the private back garden which has  a great seating area to enjoy a glass of wine after a day out visiting the surrounding area.

This must be our third or fourth visit to the cottage so that says just what we think about it , you don't keep going back to a place if it is not first class. We love it here and we love Rothbury.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cairn Rigg.  The cottage is on a beautiful hillside above Rothbury and a short walk offers wonderful views of Upper Coquetdale.  Cars need to negotiate steep lanes with a couple of hairpin bends.  A good location for exploring the coast and inland, and for walking.  The cottage was spotless and everything we needed was provided.  Ideal for wildlife enthusiasts with opportunities to see many birds, red squirrels and other animals from the windows.  Our communications with the owners were all very helpful.  We cannot praise them highly enough!  Hope to return someday.

The cottage is in an excellent position, just off Rothbury High Street, shops, pubs and eating places all really near.  The cottage was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and very comfortable.  All you could need in the kitchen, full cooker, microwave, fridge freezer even a slow cooker which we made good use of.  Downstairs utility room with toilet and washbasin and also washing machine.  Comfortable lounge with TV, video player and a good choice of books, dvd's and cd's.  Good sized double bedroom with a very comfortable bed and good quality bed linen, and single bedroom.  Both bedrooms had good wardrobe and drawer space.  Full bathroom with shower over the bath.  Outside a nice garden area with table and chairs and BBQ.
We were very happy with the cottage, and with the parking directly next to the house, the photo of the outside does not do it justice, it is lovely and quiet during the night and although so near the High Street quiet during the day.
I would recommend this cottage to anyone, it was delightful.
