Mario

We have just returned from this really special place. We were a party of 8 both family and friends. 
We were made to feel very welcome from when we arrived, being warmly greeted by the owners Mario and Dora. Mario kindly managed to save us a space outside the house to offload our luggage. We were shown around the house by Dora and Mario took my husband for a walk round Alvor showing him the little local supermarket, cafe and direction to the beach. 
The house is very tastefully decorated, spacious, lovely feel about it, with various different areas where you can relax in peace as well as communal spaces where you can all enjoy each other's company comfortably. We never felt on top of each other during our stay. During the heat of the day if you don't fancy the beach, it's lovely and cool in the house and you can enjoy some quiet time. 
The location is excellent just one street back from 'the strip' as the young ones call it. Although there is lots going on until the wee small hours, we were not disturbed by this. There are lots of good restaurants within walking distance and we also enjoyed barbecuing and eating outside on the terrace. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and you have the estuary on your doorstep too. 
This property is an absolute credit to Mario and Dora, the attention to detail is extraordinary and a lot of love and care has been poured into it. 
Thank you to you both for making such a special place where we hope to holiday for many years to come.
