10 adults used this villa as a home base for 2 1/2 weeks while we traveled to Florence, Venice, Lucca and Pisa. It is ideal for sharing time with friends, cooking and exploring the country side. The villa is well equiped, has good wifi coverage and is very comfortable. A car is an absolute must for trips to town for groceries and the train station. The villa Manager, Angela, is responsive to your needs and speaks English, which was nice. We had a fabulous time at Casa Ruspiano.

This villa has everything you could want, masses of space inside and out, very well equipped, very clean, lovely pool and spectacular views. A perfect place and we look forward to returning soon!

GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Booked the villa for a 2 week holiday with 3 generations of family. The villa was perfect with 5 spacious bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens and sitting rooms. Plus loads of outside space too. All made super easy for everyone to enjoy their stay. 

We enjoyed a wide choice of local restaurants at reasonable prices, plus day trips to Florence and Bologna too. Most of time it was difficult to leave the relaxing environment of the villa and grounds. One thing to note is that the kitchen is the best I have ever found in a holiday rental fully equipped for all types of cooking from taigine, fish kettle and large weber BBQ. This made it super easy to shop locally at the food markets and cook in.

I hope to return again for another stay soon!

FANTASTIC
If you are looking for peace and quiet with the adventures of sight seeing close by, then this is the holiday for you. After a short journey from the airport we stepped into a 5 star accomodation with all the comforts of home.We were spoilt for choice as there were two houses to choose from. If you feel like a night off cooking and do not want to go out, a chef can be arranged to cook that special meal and after all that lovely food, you can swim in the pool. You will need transport to get you from a to b and if you are feeling adventerous you can take the train to Florance and enjoy the scenery , wonderful restaurants and shopping, plus of course their italian icecream. The markets are very good, but don't forget to haggle. The best part of this holiday is the location you are on top of a hill with the nearest neighbours miles away. Great if you want total peace and quiet with all comforts.

WONDERFULL FAMILY VILLA HOLIDAY
We stayed as a family of 9 for 6 wonderful nights at Casa Ruspiano occupying both the main house and the converted barn . The property is very large, comfortable and well equipped . It is very picturesque, quiet and serene. The children loved having plenty of space, as well as being very excited when they spotted wild deer and hares. The swimming pool was kept very clean and pool towels were provided. Having a very large kitchen, lounge and outside patio with a barbecue made family meal-times easy and enjoyable . We explored the small town of Vergato on market day to buy lovely fresh produce . We used the train from Vergato station to travel and explore Bologna ,Parma, Modena and Ravenna. Some of the family took one of our hire cars and drove to Pisa as well as Venice. Should the opportunity ever arise again we would certainly choose Casa Ruspiano!

Our group enjoyed a most splendid 5 days / 6 nights at Casa Rupspiano in Vergato in the Bologna, Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Vergato, a perfect Italian country town, is located just a mere 45 minutes outside of Bologna via the train or by auto and an hour from Florence by auto. In addition, the villa's location is perfect for visiting the surrounding areas of both Florence ( Lucca, Pistoia) and Bologna (Revenna, Modena, Parma, Montova, Padua, Verona).

 The villa is very spacious and has a large professional chef quality kitchen. The villa's 5 bedrooms are all very warm and inviting as are their associated 4 bathrooms. In short, the villa is extremely comfortable to live in and stay in.

 Dealing with Sarah during the villa rental process and leading up to the trip was a pleasure. We were met in town by angela, Sarah's local representative, who bought us to the villa and who catered to our every request. 

 The villa was very clean and modern with all the necessary amenities one would wish for, including Wifi and internet connection. The views from the villa are spectacular and breathtaking. 

 I would highly recommend Casa Ruspiano to all who wish to truly experience the Italian way of living.

 We would definitely, without hesitation, stay at Casa Ruspiano again in the future. 

GORGEOUS VILLA
Thank you for letting us stay in your gorgeous villa. We had a wonderful time there enjoying the huge open space and the peacefulness of knowing that we didn't have people around. It was just us, the beautiful house and the trees. Perfect. Also I think the photos on your website don't do any justice to the house or the area. We were pleasantly surprised when we went inside the house and saw that huge kitchen and spacious bedrooms. Nice touch with the ipod docks!
