We stayed at this property from 29th June to 9th July. It is an ideal base for exploring Lake Garda

The property is about 5 miles from Salo, 2 miles up the mountain and well out the way ! A car is essential, and the property is accessed via a very wiggly narrow road, but you soon get used to driving up the hill.

The property has all the facilities needed. It has a dishwasher and washing machine in addition to the usual facilities. It is very comfortable. We did however need to go to the supermarket a couple of miles away to get washing powder, washing up liquid and cloths which were not provided. This was a minor inconvenience.

The owner is readily available via phone, text and email and is very helpful.

The views are spectacular, the place is quiet and the pool is lovely.

I have no hesitation in highly recommending this place.

A little piece of holidaying heaven. Far enough from the hustle of touristy centres but close enough to join in (only 10mins drive to Salo) and easy access to the main route around the lake, this wonderful apartment with all the facilities you might require is just the job for a relaxing holiday for a couple. The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable, recommending activities &amp; restaurants, assisting with bookings as required was much appreciated. The view at the apartment is out of this world. Parking on-site, well appointed, clean &amp; comfortable, relaxing and easy to fall in love with. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in Salo and the apartment is really lovely. It's situated really well...up in the hills but still really close to Salo, only a 15 minute drive - and it's an easy 1 hour drive from Bergamo airport. It was perfectly located for touring all around the lake. I personally think that Salo is the nicest part of Lake Garda, all the other places we toured around while there were quite touristy but Salo had such a lovely town centre, not too big but with lots of amenities. The apartment is well stocked with everything that you would need, the bedroom is lovely and the bed is very comfy. The outside area is a real bonus, it's like you have your own private garden which is like a sun trap during the day. I had some reservations at first because there were no reviews, but the apartment had been lived in by the owner for the last few years (although they had it as a holiday rental prior to that). I think this made it all the better as it feels like a cosy home rather than a standard rental which has no personalty!  Roy was a legend...he was so helpful while we were there, recommending lots of places to go and things to do, making reservations for us at a local restaurant, and even helping us out printing some boarding passes which was beyond the call of duty. We are already planning a return trip to this apartment next year, it was such a lovely, relaxing stay...I couldn't recommend it enough and we are looking forward to our return!
