Sunshine Villas

We have hired many villas in this and other parts of Spain and to be honest this was the best yet. The road to and from the villa can be tricky and needs care to negotiate but once inside the gates you will not be disappointed. The property and pool are terrific with all the facilities working as they should. The villa sleeps eight with comfort and space so you are not on top of each other, cooking for eight not so good as not enough or large pans to cook with but this can be overcome. Would have liked a parasol for the table that could give shade.
All in all highly recommended and the Javea area is a real pleasure. 
The Local restaurants were serving Menu Del Dia, 4 course of quality food with four or five choices per course including wine for 17 e per head. Eating on the front at Javea is more expensive but is on the water front and a great place to while away a long evening or take lunch. Plenty to do and see if you can pull yourself away from the villa.

The villa is lovely and spacious.  Great size pool and fab layout.  We all loved it.  
Our main issue was the fact we paid extra charges for linen, a final clean and a non refundable deposit, which, yes, we were aware of, however we were all very shocked that there was no clean linen or towels provided for us half way through our stay.  Therefore we had to wash all our bedding and towels as two weeks particularly in a hot climate is too long to go without changing the sheets.   
We were also a little disappointed that even though having asked if we would be able to check in earlier and explaining we had 3 children and arrived early morning there was no leeway in the 5pm check in.  Even though I was told twice by the lady in the office on the day we arrived that she thought we would be able to get in earlier she then didn't even call me till 5.15 to say the villa was ready.  As you have to be out of the villa by 10am I was hoping we could have just sat round the pool even if we couldn't get into the villa itself. 
Apart from those two issues which we all really feel need addressing by the company we loved the villa and the surrounding area with Javea just a short drive away.

Very nice and comfortable. The garden and the pool are well maintained. All accomadations are well thought. Service in the agency is perfect.
Just a problem with the key box  we suffered from two unsuccessful breakage attempts. Finally we decided not to leave the key in the key-box. 
In spite of that, we would come back without hesitations.

A fantastic and very clean villa with everything provided as well as some nice extras. We have been taking villa holidays for many years and this is up there with the best. There were no faulty items and the villa was absolutely spotless. A lovely quite area with a handful of bars and resturants within a short walk and everything you could need in Javea just a few minutes drive away. 

Javea itself is a lovely town, with two beaches, endless bars and restuarants but isnt full to bursting point like many holiday resorts. No noisy clubs... definately a family/couples resort and not for youngsters.

Our only complaint is no specific instruction book for the villa. There is a generic James Villas one. But most have a detailed book with information on the villa (How to operate the safe, where the electric supply/fuses are etc) as well as a section on what is where locally. (We didnt find some of the best places until very late on in the holiday). Overall though a 5 star experience and we would love to visit again.

Casa Serena is a beautiful house, it has everything needed for great vacations. Its very comfortable and everything works perfectly. Maybe it needs and extra bathroom but the rest is great. The pool and outside area are very nice.
