My family, together with my parents and sister in law stayed at this villa during the last week of December for 6 days. This was an excellent home, spacious and clean with all the amenities a villa should have. My kids particularly enjoyed the game room and heated pool. Villa is easy to find with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The owner Paul will promptly reply to all questions. Only downer was the busy period we were there (dec. 29 - jan. 3). But we cant wait to go again (probably during another season) for a much longer period of time! Michelline, ARUBA - January 2014

We spent three weeks at this villa, we have stayed in a number of Florida villas in the past, however the location of this villa within the very well run Emerald Island gated estate is far better than all other locations we have stayed in, the house was very well positioned with no one looking onto the pool from the rear as many do which can be a little off putting, with this house its very private with a great view of the lake and protected land beyond, we were visited by many many of the wildlife during our stay viewed from across the lake. The house is in the perfect location to Disney, only a 10 -15 min drive from the villa. The house is a perfect size for two families, we were 9 and we had room to spare, if we return again in a few years with friends or family then i wouldnt hesitate to rent this house again. Our stay at this property was excellent from start to finish. Paul made getting the reservation and making payments at the appointed times very easy. The home is so beautifully decorated that we felt like houseguests. We traveled with our children and grandchildren, 12 in all, and the house accommodated us most comfortablyenough beds and bathrooms, laundry facilities, and a very functional and well-stocked kitchen in addition to the game room and the outdoor living space. Our grandchildren spent most of their time at the house either in the game room or the pool/spa. We all especially enjoyed the green space behind the house, where we saw water fowl and even a few alligators! There was a minor maintenance issue which was addressed very promptly by the maintenance company. The purpose of our visit was Disney/Universal, and the house could not have been better located. It was a very quick drive to Disney, and easy access to the roads to Universal. Emerald Island is a beautiful community, with well-maintained grounds and nice common facilities. We were very pleased with your property. This is our fourth trip to Orlando and of the four villas we have leased your`s was the closest to Disney. We found the location very handy for making the most of our annual Disney pass. We could drive to the park for Fast Passes in the morning and for a few rides, return to the house for a swim, lunch, etc and then go back to the Parks later in the day, to use the Passes for the higher demand rides. The restaurants and other amenities in the area were also very convenient and time-saving. Emerald Island Resort was a very desirable enclave of homes and offered a welcome break from the madness of the parks. It was very quiet during our stay and the absence of neighbouring villas to the rear really added to our enjoyment. Personally I would not rent another villa with properties to the rear. Our children were thrilled to see Florida wildlife in a natural setting and on several days we were fortunate enough to see a small alligator sunning itself on the river bank. The house was very comfortable, clean and spacious. I enjoyed working in the kitchen: lots of counter space, a nice view, etc. Clearly, the house can comfortably accommodate much larger parties than ours, but it was welcoming and homey even for a small group. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings tasteful. We spent a lot of time in the pool, which heated up very quickly with sunny weather and nightly use of the pool blanket. You can`t beat a warm, private pool in your back yard for a vacation with younger children. We will hold on to memories of the Villa, pool and lovely setting for a good while and especially as we return to Winter in Canada. Thank you for the opportunity to vacation in your lovely property. Hi Paul We would just like to thank you for letting us rent your Villa from 8th September through to 22nd September. We had a wonderful time and the facilities especially the stroller and cot you provide helped to make our stay even better. The villa was in a perfect position for travel to and from the parks and with a little one in tow this helped make the journey home a lot happier! The games room and pool area helped provide a rest from some of the parks and we even invented gator-watch after seeing an alligator in the lake at the back! Hopefully in a few years we will all be travelling back to Florida together and would love to rent your home again. Thank you for helping to make our Florida holiday very special. Just back from two weeks at the villa. I havent seen a negative comment amongst the other reviews and I havent one to add. House was perfect for the 11 family members, age range 18 to 52. Spacious enough for privacy when you wanted it. Everyone made good use of the free wifi (we all live in the facebook age) We were especially pleased with the wildlife spotting on the lake. During the fortnight we saw an otter, terrapins, a comprehensive supply of different birds, big and small and to cap it all, the four foot alligator who was not in the least camera shy.
