It was our second time in Villa Abbatoggia and like the first time it was an absolutely perfect holiday for our family (two children). The hosts (Nino and Marinella as well as their son Alessandro) are very kind, nice and helpful. Beaches are superb and La Maddalena is a very beautiful island.

I have sojourned in this place many times and in virtually all seasons since 1997, so I am more than familiar with the house and know the area very well. The house is quiet, close to the beach yet secluded in the green: you would miss it if you did not know it is there. The rooms, baths, kitchen, and living room are very well-kept and spacious. Details are refined and give a flavor of the location. The layout of the house is ideal for different type of uses: I stayed there by myself, with my family, and with friends and the house served me/us well in many regards (privacy, etc) all those occasions. The location is truly great and highly suggestive, within walking distance to several wonderful beaches, including Baia Trinita (10/5 mins walk) and Monte d'Arena (5 mins walk) and other minor beaches. As any other place in La Maddalena, I would advise you to have a motor-vehicle be it car, moped, or motorcycle. I would not use a bicycle as main means of transportation (although it is great for trips in the area) because La Maddalana is not ideal for it, however I did stay there twice with my bicycle only and I managed it. The bus stop is just 2 mins walk. Finally, a word about the owner/manager. Alessandro is a truly nice and honest person and will never let you down -- it is a pleasure when I see him during my stays.

Le propriétaire et ses parents sont très gentils et attentionnés. Je recommande.
