Stayed January 2014, traveled as a couple
We spent the holidays of Epiphany day at “The Lotus Tree” in Portaria. The Lotus Tree is a renovated mansion sited at the center of Portaria village with an excellent view to the nearby village Makrynitsa and to the city of Volos.
 The minimal rooms exude warmth, cleanliness and homely feel. Cleanliness as well as friendly hospitality is some of the positive characteristics in accordance with the value for money rate.
 Hope to have the opportunity to visit again the naturalist area and to have the pleasure of staying at the Lotus Tree again.

The room and the communal spaces were always clean. We were also impressed by the fact that we could use the jacuzzi or we could drink coffee without an extra charge not to mention the reasonable price of the room.

And of course congrats on Evmorfia. Friendly, considerate, smiley, helpful, communicative and also a very good cooker. 
In general it s what we call "value for money".
