My wife Diane and I are retired, live in the UK and visit Crete each year. We built Villa Jasmine in 2013. Being a relatively new villa it is designed, built and fitted out to a high modern standard. There is a great choice of beaches within a short drive and we enjoy the many restaurants and bars in Agios Nikolaos, Elounda, Plaka and along the coastal road. We often venture into the villages and discovery wonderful tavernas offering traditional Cretan food and hospitality at very low prices. The photo above shows us celebrating out 55th wedding anniversary at a specialist fish restaurant with Spinalonga island in the background.
