Villa Lubrense is a beautiful villa in a stunning location. We enjoyed views over the bay to Vesuvius from windows and terraces. It is a short walk into town where you can buy everything you need and eat well at good restaurants too. If you enjoy walking in is in an excellent location as you can walk down to quiet coves and beaches from the house. A short drive from Sorrento too if you prefer a more lively scene. Would love to return with a group of friends although there might need to be more mugs and wineglasses!

Casa Musa was a a very nice villa/appartment. It was very clean, the owner who lives on site was very helpful, discreet and accommodating, and the location, very near to a small town was also good. The appartment was well equipped and spacious. If we were to recommend it would be for an older family or adults. There were a number of large signs around the appartment indicating the do's and dont's which were slightly off putting at first but I suspect they help to keep it in good condition. The appartment itself my family felt was not entirely suitable for a very young family. It was very hot and we couldn't open the windows due to the mosquitos which were bad in this area. There were steps up to the appartment which with 2 buggies was a nuisance and also the area around the pool in particular was prone to mosquitos and we were all bitten pretty badly, even after applying copious amounts of insect repellent! The pool was cold and we could not stay in the pool for long periods because of this. The terrace area was not big enough for a child to play and the railing around the terrace was low and not entirley safe for a young child. On a practical note there was no information on how to dispose of our rubbish and we needed to catch the owner to find out where to take it, which was to the nearest collection area, approx 300 yards from the villa.

This property is fabulous. The location is certainly off the beaten path but close enough to enjoy the best neighborhood in Venice. The only problem we had was related to language. We spoke no Italian and the property owned no English. Had we known this in advance we would have made better preparation for our stay. Might suggest the owner prepare some English instructions for visitors regarding local services such as groceries, and trash collection (we discovered we had placed garbage in wrong bin). Also, one of the phone numbers listed for contact was no longer in service. That was a little scary when we were making our first contact in the country.

Simon, Michelle and Evie Griffiths including Terry and Anna-Maria. We had a fantastic stay at Villa Talciona. The views and grounds around the villa are beautiful, there is a fantastic pool, an al fresco dinning area and a shaded area for table tennis or just relaxing. Francessco and Elena were great hosts and were very helpful with suggesting places to visit and information regarding the local area. We also had the pleasure of experiencing their home cooking service which was excellent!! A real treat to be waited on al fresco with magnificent views and five courses! We all highly recommend Villa Talciona. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday and great memories Simon, Michelle and Evie
