We had a lovely stay in this apartment which is in a good location a short journey on the metro to las rambles or a downhill walk. Around the apartment are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. A week was not long enough and I intend to book the apartment in the near future, well looked after by Paquita and good communication from owner. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I was very cautious when booking an apartment, having been burnt in the past. However with Gloria the process could not be any easier. She is honest and fair.
The apartment its self is located a stone throw away from Fontana station and is in walking distance of Diagonal. We even walked it over to Park Guell but with the climb up the hill it is a little difficult but perfectly manageable.

As for the flat its self then you can not fault it. It has every mod con you could imagine, including internet access which was a pleasant surprise. The balcony is just divine for sitting on and having breakfast. The bathroom is that of a expensive hotel, exceptionally clean and nicely fitted and the bedroom has plenty of storage space and a comfy double bed.

If you do decide to check out the place on google maps then do not be put off by the facade or the street. It looks a little run down but once inside it is all fine and the street is quiet and nicely off any main roads.

There is plenty of shops near by including a supermarket and even a very friendly jamon store just round the corner from fontana station. All in all you will find everything you need to cook / get snacks for the day. The kitchen is well fitted with an oven / coffee and tea making gear and even a microwave.

All in all a very pleasant stay!

Convenient and comfortable in a fantastic neighbourhood

    I love to live like a local when I travel so for me this was the perfect choice! Gracia, just minutes north of the city centre by metro, is a friendly, bohemian neighbourhood with great restaurants, cafés, shops and loads of character.

    The apartment felt like home during my stay. It was very clean, bright, modern, well kept and had everything I needed including a very comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bathroom. I was able to take advantage of the citys wonderful markets and prepare a few meals while I was there and it was fun to sit out on the balcony to enjoy them!

    The location is well situated for exploring the rest of the city, Fontana metro station being less than five minutes away. A lot of Barcelonas sights are easily within walking distance including many of Gaudís works... one of them, Casa Vicens is just up the street. Bring comfortable shoes and your camera!
