About

My name is Tayana. I enjoy to travel, work out and love to welcome new guests to experience Croatia. It's a beautiful, unspoilt country and I'm sure you will have a fantastic vacation if you choose to visit. This vacation house is a traditional old stone house that has been completely renovated to a modern standard. It's right in the middle of a village that has existed since the 15th century so has charm. A perfect getaway in particular for couples for romance or families for relaxation. You can live like a local in the centre of the village in a quiet location yet only a couple of minutes walk from the local cafes and shops. The house comfortably sleeps up to 5 people so is ideal for families. We have lots of reviews from previous guests over many years if you wish to view them but are relatively new on this site. Languages - I speak English, Croatian and Slovenian. The village is only 10 mins drive from Split Airport. Some of our guests have said that the whole of the village was akin to villages in Southern France. Unlike Split the village is more relaxing and away from the main roads. The pace of life slows down so perfect for a holiday. A perfect location in particular for couples for romance or families for relaxation (it is most definitely a family friendly location). There are all the required facilities you need within walking distance. The beach is 2mins away along with bars and cafes right by the ocean with stunning views. There are ice cream shops, several local supermarkets, takeaway food (with delicious fresh pizza), doctors, chemist, ATM, post office. There are also several restaurants that are walking distance (including Hotel Stacija in Kastel Luksic and Konaba Intrada in Kastel Novi). You can go for long walks along the coast passing through the 7 inter-connected Kastela villages with breathtaking views. You can also rent a local skipper with Speed Boat to take you out on day trips or for a lower cost there is a daily taxi boat that runs from Kastel to Trogir and back several times a day. Ask us for details. Languages spoken: English, Croatian, Slovenian
