Our second visit to the property was every bit as pleasant as our first.

The bungalow was well equipped, impeccably clean and suited our needs perfectly. 

We enjoy the layout of the unit which allows ample privacy for relaxation and the inclusion of a washing machine means we can fly out with carry-on luggage only saving time and money. 

We can't wait until we can return for a third visit.

Los Abanicos is a quiet apartment complex of 40 units with a large swimming pool which we had to ourselves for most of the week. It is approximately 20-25 minutes walk from the town center or 4 euros in a taxi. The rooftop terrace has great views of the mountains and los lobos island. The apartment is well equipped with a full fridge freezer, oven and 4 ring hob. The host Anne was very accommodating as we originally booked for April but had to cancel due to COVID . We changed it to December which was no problem for Anne and as a result we needed a late checkout because the flights were now a lot later but this was no problem for Anne and she did not charge us a late checkout fee. Top marks to this host.

Just spent 10 days in this lovely Villa. All facilities as described. Having access to the private roof terrace was great allowing us to sunbath without being overlooked. Area is a little out of the main town but there are restaurants and supermarket in walking distance but at the moment the paths are being updated so having a car was essential for us. Please also note the Mercadona up the hill was/is closed.
All in all a great holiday and would consider again in the future. Communication with the owner Anne and Martyn who looks after the property for her was quick and easy.

We really like this complex and the bungalows. They have plenty of space and privacy and are away from the noise and bustle of the main part of the resort. 

This bungalow was nicely presented, in good order with everything we needed for a peaceful break.

The owner gave detailed directions and was flexible with our departure time as no guests had booked to stay following us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The accommodation was well equipped and close to local supermarket and cafes within 15-20 mins walk. Only disappointment was that the bath needed a little TLC ( damaged enamel) otherwise we could not fault it. We would certainly be happy to stay there again for some winter sun.

We have stayed on this complex at various different villa's for some years. They are a little bit more expensive than others that are available, but, the extra expense is worth it if you want a quieter holiday with nice, clean well kept grounds and an excellent pool, however, that is all. Its about a 20 minute walk into town for the shops and restaurants.  We would have no hesitation in staying in this villa at Los Abanicos again in the future.
