We arrived, my son and his wife and I early on Saturday morning after twenty four hours of travel and were warmly welcomed by the manager, Muramba and his two assistants, Salim and Zaidi. Our first impressions was the stunning beauty of the location overlooking the Indian Ocean, a short walk away.

The villa is just off the main Mombasa Malindi road after the Kilifi bridge.  The approach is up a rather bad lane of 3 KM but it is an interesting journey in a taxi, on a tuktuk or on the back of one of the many motor bikes that are available to transport you around. Tuskys excellent supermarket is nearby for major needs but there are a few little shops on the way to the villa. A tuktuk to the supermarket return should cost no more than 500 KES (€5). The locals are really warm and friendly.

The villa was well maintained and beautifully furnished with the master bedroom en-suite and the other two bedrooms beside the bathroom. On the veranda there is a large dining table and lots of comfortable seating and the sun hits it from early afternoon through the remainder of the day. 

Muramba and his men were excellent hosts and always on hand to give help and advice. They provide boating and other water activities. 

We can highly recommend  Sunset Villa for a week of peaceful tranquility in breathtaking beautiful surroundings with well maintained gardens and close proximity to the beach.

Das Domiziel, wir waren im Appartement Nr 1 untergebracht hat uns sehr gefallen. Der grosse saubere Pool, die Anlage mit viel Beumen und Streuchern alles schön grün. Das nette Personal, Im Haus alles sauber. Die Wohnung selber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet ( Kerzen, Bilder an der Wand, Tepiche usw. ) Küche mit allem eingerichtet was mann zum kochen braucht. Mit fast allem ausgestattet. In der Wohnung fühlt mann sich geborgen, wie im eigenem Zuchause. Mann kann auch in Malindi viel unternehmen und es giebt viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren 5 Wochen, die sehr erholsam waren!

"Maison fonctionnelle dans un magnifique jardin à quelques pas de plusieurs petites plages de sable entourées de palétuviers sur la Kilifi Creek ( grand bras de mer entrant dans les terres), le personnel est chaleureux, serviable et efficace dans l’organisation du séjour, nous avons explorés avec le canoë et Saïd nous a emmené avec le bateau à moteur visiter l’île aux oiseaux au coucher du soleil, époustouflant ! Endroit idéal au repos, à la contemplation, et découverte de la vie Africaine des villages. Je peux que conseiller cet endroit authentique et unique "

"we had a perfect holiday . The food cooked for us was excellent . The staff were so helpful taking us to their local village and schools . We got a real understanding of kenyan life. They organised trips for us . We had nothing to do or think about as they over saw to all our needs . The house was very clean . The pool was not small as the photographs seem to indicate . The view from the house was lovely and the gardens very pretty ."

After a week of safari, this was the perfect spot for relaxation. Nous avons eu lindépendance correspondant a nos attentes et fait nos désidérata dactivités au pres de Saidi, qui cest fait une joie dy répondre! "My husband and I enjoyed a most relaxing few days at Sunset Villa for our Wedding Anniversary- it was everything and more the advert said it was.Very peaceful and the view was breathtaking to wake up to in the morning.The villa was spotless and had everything including an amazing chef ! we needed as we never left this special haven. The staff were very polite and more than helpful. I was over whelmed with the beautiful gardens.A painter or writers paradise as so tranquil.We would recommend the Sunset experiance if you just want to chill and relax. Hallo, der Urlaub in der Sunsetvilla hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Es war sauber, ruhig, die Umgebung o.k., die Aussicht super und die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Maguerite und Geroge sind wirklich sehr angenehme Menschen und wir freuen uns ihre Bekanntschaft gemacht zu haben. Bisschen besser hätten die Wasserversorgung im Sanitärbereich (Toilette und Dusche) und die Elektrizität funktionieren können. Eine funktionierende Klimaanlage wäre auch super gewesen. Viele Grüße

"E decisamente unottima soluzione per soggiornare liberamente, senza i vincoli degli orari degli alberghi. La posizione è centralissima,lappartamento è pulito, dotato di tutti i confort, in un bel residence, ma non dimentichiamo che siamo in Kenya, e quindi il personale del residence proverà a farvi pagare extra ogni cosa, come ad esempio il cambio degli asgiugamani e la pulizia ogni 2 giorni, che invece sono compresi nel prezzo. Ottima soluzione per una bellissima vacanza."

"L’appartement est idéalement situé centre ville et directement sur la plage, bien équipé et personnel de la résidence très accueillants et serviables. Les équipements de la résidence,jardin, piscine, court de tennis, salle de gym bien entretenus. Les coach du gym sont compétents et très aimables. Nous reviendrons certainement, propriétaire aimable et arrangeant. Best situation downtown Malindi and on the beach, the apartment is well equipped, staff very friendly and helpful.
