Me and my wife have just spent three weeks in the Helena Apartment in Dalyan.

This was our tenth holiday  in Turkey and second time in Dalyan and I must say that this apartment was as good if not better than any of the accommodations we have stayed in before in that country.

Elizabeth the owner was in contact with us at all times and arranged our transport to and from the airport with no problems.

Me and my wife would recommend this apartment 100% .

One word sums up the apartment EXCELLENT.

We are a married couple in our late fifties who have been to Turkey many times and we will hopefully keep returning to the lovely country for many years to come.  We have never been to the same place twice because we love to try different places, but Dalyan is an absolute delight and a must for at lease one more visit.  If we do return and I am sure that we will, what better place to stay than in Liz and David's fabulous apartment.  For those who don't know the Turkisk coast between Kas and Dalyan, there are some beautiful little villages/towns, but the accommodation can quite often be up a hill, which can be quite challenging in the high Turkish temperature.   Rest assured that this apartment is on the flat in the perfect location for a leisurely 5 minute stroll to the main square, the restaurants, bars and waterfront and at night you can sit on the apartment's peaceful balcony without hearing a sound.  The apartment is one of the best that we have stayed in and the gardens and pool were so well kept.  Despite the fact that this was a late summer holiday (September 2015) the water in the pool what beautifully warm, but the 30% - 40% air temperature may account for that.  We were lucky enough to meet Liz and David (thanks for the Gin and Tonics) who were themselves on holiday staying at their other apartment which is also a holiday rental and equally as nice as the one we stayed in (so you have 2 chances of booking a great apartment in the best location for your stay in Dalyan).  One potential worry about booking an apartment abroad is communicating with the owner, but not on this occasion, Liz is so on top of the communication and makes your feel like an old friends from the minute you make your first inquiry. So to summarize, this apartment is a credit to the owners and if you are lucky enough to book your next holiday in Dalyan and stay in this apartment, you will not be disappointed. We stayed at the Villa Helena last year in September (apologies for the late review)!  The apartment was stunning - close to Dalyan town but far enough out to be quiet - and had everything we needed for our holiday.  The gardens are immaculate and full of fruit trees.  The owners were very helpful and arranged transfers for us from Dalaman Airport to the apartment.  We would not hesitate to recommend the villa to friends and family.

Highly recommended accommodation and great communication from the owner. We have been going to Dalyan for many years and this is by far the best apartment we have stayed in and the peaceful location was perfect with a nice leisurely stroll into town or the nearby supermarkets.
The apartment had good quality fittings etc and everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay including fabulous air conditioning in all rooms. We enjoyed many relaxing days by the pool in the well kept gardens and there were ample comfortable sunbeds with parasols.
We are already thinking about our next visit back to the glorious Dalyan and would not hesitate to book Apartment Helena again as it proved to be great value for money.

We stayed at the Helena Apartment from the 6th until the 20th of August. We are four adults.  The apartment was spotless and just as described in the blurb-the location is excellent. Near enough to the town to be an easy walk,  yet far away enough to be beautifully quiet. We didnt even have any road noise.
The property is built to good standard,clean and with excellent Air Conditioning in each of the rooms.  There are proper British sockets in each of the bedrooms for recharging all the gadgets we seem to need these days. 
The shower is first class with plentiful supplies of VERY hot water. 
We used the cooking facilties a few times. All of the utensils cutlery crockery and so on was perfectly functional. 
The water cooler is in our view an act of genius-we had the water refills delivered by one of the local shops. The lad from the shop  even drove me on his scooter to locate where we were staying on the first trip. (This was entirely due to my own spectacular incompetence in remembering our address.) This really made life a lot easier in terms of readily available, plentiful and cold drinking water.
The furniture was all to a perfectly sound standard, and perfectly proportioned for a holiday apartment.If we were to make any criticism it would be a lack of wifi-but hey it probably wasnt a bad thing especially as  free wifi is available everywhere in town. 
We had the shared pool to ourselves most of the time. It is clean and well looked after, as is the garden. 
This place struck us as being owned by someone who cared, and wasnt in it just to make a fast buck.
Ive already recommended it to a pal of mine.

We stayed at the apartment the last 2 weeks of july 2013. The first impression was very nice, also the contact we had in advance with the owners was very warm and friendly. The apartment was well equiped, especially the kitchen. The insect screens were very welcome, because of all the mosquitos in Dalyan. 
There are 4 apartments in the building but 2 of them were empty so we only had to share the swimmingpool with the british people downstairs (the owners of that apartment and very friendly). At the swimmingpool, which is clean and proper it was very quiet, no traffic or noisy nextdoor hotels/ap). 
The stroll to town was a little bit longer than I expected, the ´big´ supermarket Migros is a 15 min walk away but it was about 43°c, so it felt like 40 min. With 4 of us the balcony was a little bit on the small side, but because there is no table (no space) inside it felt weird to eat our breakfast on the couch ) So we got creative with spaces/chairs and tiny tables on the balcony. 
If you go to Dalyan in july or august go to Turtle Beach after 3, the sand cools off and the big boats leave! The beachwalk to the Turtle Shelter is fantastic, it took us 45 min. (There you can take the Dolmus back). We did a jeepsafari, such a great time! Amazing views!  and ofcourse the boattrips. One more tip, go out to diner at the TreeHouse Restaurant, it was the best turkish food we ate in Dalyan and the children loved eating in the treehouse. As did we :) Back in the apartment, we were so pleased with the airconditioning! We truly recommend Helena.
