On arriving the villa looked lovely. Pool area was nice and it had everything as it says inside, i.e iron, cutlery etc. Has there was a mix up of addresses with our tranfers, i had to ring the number of the lady who i had booked through. We arrived at the villa and Michael (lovely man) who arrived shortly after us explained that he had taken over the bookings from Sharon but only for us phoning(due to the transfer mix up) no-one would have been there to let us into the villa as promised. Michael then offered to take us to lidl for our shop. Starting to unpack, we put the air con on in my daughters room and 2 big cockroaches jumped out alive, which we disposed of, so the aircon hadnt been sprayed or cleaned. Michael came back and sprayed with repellent. I know there are bugs but in all the villas i have stayed in, i haven't had them inside. From then on things started falling apart (literally). The shower pole fell down, everytime you had a shower, the towel rail fell off in both bathrooms, we sorted. Wardrobe doors in 2 bedrooms came off the sliders, we fixed and the plugs socket in the downstairs bedroom came off completely when my daughter unplugged he hairdryer. It could be a beautiful villa if things where fixed properly. There was 5 of us but only 3 sun loungers. The next is to no fault of the owner but the next door neighbours who i presume live there have 2 dogs. These dogs constantly bark at anything, everything and even nothing. This to me is not a relaxing time when they are barking from as early as 7am ( woke us up somedays) up to 11pm, on and off all day. The town itself is a lovely area and friendly people

Lovely clean villa. Very nice surroundings. Swimming pool is literally 30 seconds from the villa and was usually pretty empty. Taxi is a must to get to La Zenia beach but only costs approx 6 euros each way. Sharon and Richard were very helpful and due to us having a late flight back, allowed us to stay in the villa until we needed to leave for the airport. Return transfers arranged with owners too which were totally hassle free! Many thanks Sharon xx

Holiday in Torrevieja in April, 2014 I stayed at this villa with my friend and our four children for a week. The villa is absolutely lovely. It has all the amenities necessary for a relaxing enjoyable break away in the sun! Our children loved the swimming pool and with the satellite TV there was plenty to keep them entertained. The villa is in a perfect location to shops and lovely restaurants and bars. The area is very tranquil and peaceful and the local residents are very friendly and were happy to help us with any questions. I highly recommend the villa for anyone seeking a holiday home from home! A great villa! Plenty of space as only the 5 of us! Bigger enough for 2 families to share! If you want a relaxing holiday everything is in walking distance! Restaurant, bars & shops! If you want to go further a field you might need a car! 10 min walk to the beach, so everything you need for a great holiday! Will definatley come again!

"Definitely coming back - lovely villa, great location!" I stayed at the villa with 7 of my friends in October 2014. We had a great time from start to finish. The villa has recently had a makeover since I last stayed and it looks great! Its really clean, nice bedding, new towels, fresh smelling! The villa comfortably slept all of us, loads of room/space for everyone, could easily have accomodated 10 people. We had great weather and were able to take advantage of the communal swimming pool which we had all to ourselves all weekend. Short walk to local shops where there is a Consum supermarket, really reasonable and has everything you need. There are also a few cafes here where you can get a full english breakfast for 3 Euros, bargain! Really nice restuarants in the local area, Christophers is a must and so is Puccinis. If you want some live entertainment then head to Playa Flamenca centrale where you will find bands on most nights in the Landsdowne (an Irish bar). Great holiday enjoyed by all of us, we are defnitely coming back again next year!

“Home sweet home” A very comfortable and homely house, Even though we visited during January when the weather was a bit colder the house was still very warm and cosy inside. Good location, several supermarkets and golf courses just a short distance away. The area is also nice and quiet. We would be happy to stay at Casa Piedra again. Loved the house, especially the garden and patio. roof terrace a must for evening meal and cards. Read two good books while I was there. Lovely quiet area and great swimming pool, my daughter, her friend and I had it to ourselves most days. Car useful for evenings. I wanted to relax, enjoy the sun and rest and that is exactly what happened. What more could you ask for. 04 Sep 2012 “beautifull and quit place with everything what you need” we spent just one week in this house but we found really nice and quiet house and all area with everithing what you need around you. Beautifull private pool and local shop with wide range of local and english/irish products just minute walk, ten minutes drive to natural or town beaches, fifteen minutes drive to Toravieja town with lovely inside market with fresh fish, fruit, vegetable and lot more, forty minutes drive from int,airport Alicante. House itself is beutifull, luxury, modern and clean.We have a seven moths baby and we found everithing what was needed inside the kinchen. There is a lot of room for seating, eating and relaxing outside, even with the BBQ at the evening, but also lovely sofa under the airconditioning in seating room at front of LCD where you can also enjoy many DVDs or SKY.. We had the only one problem there, we spent just one week there only. Hopefully come back soon. Peaceful setting in a beautiful villa” We have just returned from casa piedra, it is a beautiful villa, well presented & very clean. The photos dont do it justice. The pool is a minute walk from the villa & is never over crowded. The roof terrace is perfect to sit out in the evening and the street is lovely & quiet. We hired a car but isnt necessary as everything is close by. Thank u Sharon & Richard for letting us stay in your lovely home! 02 Jul 2012 “Fantastic Holiday” Me and my partner have just returned from our fantastic holiday, and absolutely loved our time at Casa Piedra. It was spotless throughout and was a real home from home. We enjoyed chilling on an evening on the roof terrace, it was so peaceful. We could not have wished for anything more. The communal pool was also clean and a stones throw away from the house. Sharon was also on hand for any queries, and really helpful. All in all we would 100% recommend Casa Piedra for a lovely place to stay, The location was close to all the local amenaties. Everything was just like on the website photos. We will definatley be going back again. Denise and Mark. 28 Aug 2011 “fabulous villa” We booked the villa for a week in June 2011. It was a smooth transaction and we had great communication with the owner who was extremely helpful. On arrival we were met by a friendly neighbour who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The villa was beautiful and it exceeded our expectations. It was tastfully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay . It was not basic as some holiday accommodation can be. It had fabulous finishing such as leather sofas, luxury bedding and top quality patio furniture. We have stayed in the area before so we had a good knowledge of the area. However there was a welcome folder in the villa with everything you need to know about los dolces and the surrounding areas. We also hired the car that was offered with the villa. It was much cheaper than hiring from a rental company. I would definatley recommend hiring the car! We had such a fabulous holiday we will be returning again next year. Thanks again to Sharon for letting us rent her beatiful villa.
