The apartment proved to be a real home from home. The stunning views and peaceful surroundings were an added bonus, making us feel relaxed and set apart from the local town yet a five minute drive away from the traditional Spanish village of La Cala when needed. The apartment itself was modern, well looked after and very clean with everything you need provided. The swimming pool wasnt very busy which added to the relaxed holiday we were after. The location was perfect for us, as La Cala is very central to Spanish villages like Mijas and busy beach resorts like Marbella and Fuengirola.Its less than 30 minutes from Malaga airport. We enjoyed the variety it offered, yet a hire car is recommended and great to go and explore some of the  local towns and villages.Ronda is a worth a visit.All in all we had a great time and would recommend the apartment.

Mijas Costa - Front Line Golf

It’s only a short hop from Manchester to Malaga airport and the sun, sea and sand of the Spanish south coast… we visited last year, collected our car from a spot close to the airport arrivals hall and enjoyed a lovely drive down the coast to the apartment at Calanova Sea Golf.
The apartment overlooks a pool to one side and a quiet golf course on the other, with sea views in the distance.  It is very well appointed with everything you might need for a weeks’ holiday - just pack your sunny weather clothes, sun cream, sunglasses and beach towels.
There is a useful folder in the apartment containing information such as ideas for outings, recommendations for restaurants, days and times of local markets etc. We were never short of things to do or places to visit and, when we wanted to relax or enjoy some home cooking the apartment served us very well indeed.
The location of the apartment is perfect - but you do need a car. It is only a few minutes drive from the coast, with its shops, supermarkets and restaurants, while enjoying the benefits of being tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish night life. If you are a golf enthusiast you are perfectly placed for enjoying regular rounds with friends. 
The apartment has an odd WI-FI signal, accessible only from the balcony overlooking the pool. However, it is lovely out there in the shade and you get to meet interesting and friendly neighbours of all nationalities as you tap away!
