Very nice place to stay in Cabo Roig, the pool is right outside the front door, its clean, well appointed and its just a short walk away from the strip.....but....we were slightly disappointed with a few things. Firstly, I booked this particular property because it had a dishwasher....I didnt want to be doing dishes on holiday, thats the main reason I chose this property but there was no dishwasher so that was a let down, second niggle, the A/C runs on a meter which the ad reckons a €2 coin will last a day....nope!!! we were going through 2-3 every day and that was with the A/C off half the time. The walk to La Zenia boulevard was more then the 10 minute stroll stated, especially in the heat, more like 20/25 mins and its a steep downhill walk......get a taxi back!!!!!! All this apart, the place itself was nice and a good base for Cabo Roig.

On arrival we were met by Eve who manages this property. She was lovely to deal with and very helpful throughout our stay. The property was very clean and all the facilities described were in good order. It is well located for bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is no more than a 15min stroll and there are several weekly markets within walking distance. The air con throughout is great and even though it is on a meter, we used less than 2 euros a day and that was with 4 adults, 2 children and a baby!! Our only negative was the downstairs 3rd bedroom as it got very light in there early morning and we would recomment the use of blackout eye patches but that is the only negative. Overall, great choice!!.

The property is in a great location for bars and restaurants and some of the restaurants are brilliant. 

The property its self wasnt quite as good as we hoped. Unfortunately we werent aware the air conditioner unit was on a meter so didnt come with loads of euros. Its 2 euros a day if you want to keep cool in the evening and the problem with that is its VERY HARD to find 2 euros (we were told by people that they are rare, so had a couple of uncomfortable days when we ran out) we even tried putting in x2 1 euros but it just ate my money and had no cool air. We even went on the hunt one evening and went into every shop to ask if they could change some money to 2 euros and couldnt get any.So come prepared with 2 euro coins a day for your stay or you will be screwed. 

Also the oven wasnt working during our stay so we couldnt cook anything in the oven, only had hob and microwave.

The outside patio is lovely as thats where I spent most of my time and the pool is great. Most of the neighbours live there most of the year and are very friendly and some have been helpful too.

Eve the lady who looks after the property was very nice and easy to talk to and let us come into the villa earlier than agreed so that was a really nice touch.

Overall for a cheap holiday its fine, and im sure the problems we occurred wont happen to everyone.
