La Pineta

Thank you so much for the use of your lovely house. A good time was had by all. The pool is a great addition particularly as it was so hot and sunny.

My great niece learnt to swim without armbands in your pool. They loved it. Perfect holiday.


The on line photos could not amply reflect the peace and tranquillity afforded by this house high up in the foothills of the Apenines. The quality of both the air and the light was amplified by this spacious and well considered house. Cooking in the large bright and well-appointed kitchen was a delight, sitting and eating out on the wonderful terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside until the stars came out was a joy. We all agreed that the house was so ‘homely’, not the often rather soulless commercial offerings we have experienced, it was as if the considerate owners had just moved out and allowed us to live in their stead for a precious few days. The pool was delightful and provided with ample comfortable loungers, parasols, a shaded swing seat and an excellent thermally heated poolside shower (what a great idea!) it was just perfect for an early swim and perhaps even better on returning from a long day walking in the mountains. we can honestly say that La Pineta is one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in, we have stayed in quite a few, and we would highly recommend it.

Hello, just a short note to say how we thoroughly enjoyed staying at La Pineta – the house was wonderful. We appreciated having supplies there to use – I think we managed to replace any alcohol we drank, however were not able to get hold of coffee capsules!

We thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday at La Pineta! The views were spectacular and we loved sitting on the Veranda in the sunshine. Communication before our stay was excellent and La Pineta itself is very well furnished, comfortable, clean and organised.

Brilliant holiday in La Pineta. Plenty of room for all of us. Sitting on the upstairs terrace watching the sun do down in the valley, playing cards, sipping wine........who could want more.
We didnt use the TVs much apart from watching the news about Wimbledon and the British Grand Prix. The children watched some DVDs. They also enjoyed playing chess.....having a mini tournament between the 3 of them.

The weather was unbelievable. Lunch at Spinos was excellent (and the pool of course).
Eduardo in the local bar was very helpful with train times and also had some excellent Grappa and espresso there.
