we were looking for somewhere near to relatives in south east London and within easy reach of central London and this fitted well. It was a relief to return there every evening, a haven from hectic London. The room was more spacious than I had anticipated and there was a futon as well as the bed in case we didn't want to share. The kitchen was good and there was no problems sharing the bathrooms.
The food shop was a bit of a walk  but the station just around the corner ( well a couple of corners). The only problem for us is that the trains no longer go to Charing Cross but stop at London Bridge which is not as convenient. I got a week long oyster card for under 50 pounds. If you have one that you just put money on remember to check out at your destination or you get fined and run out of money sooner! Terry ran my sister to the station when she left as she had difficulty with heavy bags and steps.
   This was an excellent place for us to stay and fulfilled all our needs.

We had the pleasure of staying at the landlords previous property last year (a two-bedroom flat, also in Croydon), so, when it came time to look for another short-term rental for our visit, we got straight back in touch with them, and found that they had recently acquired a two-bedroom house. As with their previous place, the decor and presentation was immaculate, the accomodations were pleasant and comfortable, theres a nice little garden, and their attentiveness in dealing with our  requests and requirements left nothing to be desired. They even equipped the house with baby gates and cabinet locks to keep our toddler safe. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house to anyone looking for a short-term house rental in the Croydon area. 

In terms of the local amenities, theres a bus stop 5 minutes walk away that takes you into central Croydon in 5 minutes, theres a good selec tion of shops and takeaways in easy walking distance, and, of course, once youre in Croydon, youre a 15-minute train ride from central London. I suppose, if I had to level any kind of criticism, the parking on Dominion Road can be tricky, as its a narrow road thats always full of cars, but thats a minor detail. 

Overall, this house comes highly recommended. You will be taken care of, and you will be sure of a comfortable stay.

Apartment is very complete and fully meets the despription. The bed is good and the room was quiet so i slept just as good as at home. The room is comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped and there was always a clean bathroom free to use. Just a 5 minutes walk to the train station which brings you within 20 minutes to London Gatwick or Central London. Thanks for the perfect stay. Will be back for sure the next time i visit London.

Terry was very helpful, place was clean and nicely upgraded.  The description was accurate and the location made day trips very convenient.  Overall, the accomodation made our trip easy to stay within budget and we had a blast !

Two bedroom apartment - close to central London

We found this property satisfactory in terms of the main standard of the flat and its furnishings, and we were welcomed by a box of chocolates and wine which was a nice touch. The flat was clean and well laid out. It also had everything we needed around, such as plates, cutlery, glasses etc, and the flat owner was willing to add a hairdryer for my wife, and a cot for our daughter.

The flat was in a decent location for central London, although it was a 15 minute walk to the station, and the map given before ordering made it seem quite a lot closer to the station.

The only downside to the property was the noise. Both bedrooms are at the front of the property, and therefore lie on a main road. The traffic is quite loud and as a result my wife and I had trouble sleeping for the first few nights. To add to this, the couple living upstairs seemed to be awake all night on some nights, and they made a considerable amount of noise due to creaking floor boards, again keeping us awake.

We were able to eventually overcome this by making up a sofa bed in the living room towards the back of the property. The owners did try and help, they came round and talked it through with us, and tried to help in any way they could. They offered us a refund and were willing to find another flat for us to move to.

Also of note is that we decided to leave early, as we did everything we had planned more quickly than expected, and wanted to get a head start on unpacking before we went back to work. The owners were very understanding and offered us 2 nights refund for the nights we no longer needed. Its unlikely a hotel, or other flat owners would do this, so it was a good gesture for them to offer us the refund.

All in all wed say it was good value for money and a nice place to stay. The owners are great and will go out of their way to help you. The only thing that spoilt it was the noise from traffic and from upstairs, so if youre a light sleeper, like my wife, you may have trouble sleeping there.

This was an amazing find. I was a little worried about the bathroom situation but it was a pointless thing to worry about. Anita and Terry were both wonderful and made my stay amazing. They picked us up and drove us to the flat after a very long day of travel which started things off wonderfully, no one wants to wonder the streets looking for a place with all the luggage. If you get the chance to book with them you should. It was a very short walk to the train station but be advised if you are going into the city center frequently you will spend a bit more on transportation but with the money you save it is well worth it! I loved staying here and hope the next time I am in London that it will be open to book :)

It was my second stay at this appartment because there is no way you find a better price/quality apartment in London. The apartment has all you need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Its clean, spacious, good bed, good couch, table, wifi works perfect, complete kitchen and a laundry machine. Location is quiet and close to supermarkets. And if you want to go to the city centre the fast train will take you in 10 minutes to London Bridge. I will certainly come back. Thanks!

I stayed  for 2 nights as a complimentary guest at the apartment whilst on a business trip to London. The location is very near the railway station which has excellent, fast, frequent, and regular trains to central London. 

The accommodation is comfortable, clean, and quiet and my privacy was respected. The bathroom and shower facilities were good and always available. It was great having my own very well equipped kitchen  - this saved me the cost of eating out in cafes and restaurants. There are two supermarkets just a short walk away from where provisions can be obtained. 

I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to enjoy London but who wants to avoid paying high London prices.

We were quite pleased how excellent the connection from Gatwick to Norwood Junction was. It took us only thirty minutes to get there. The way from the station was easy to find, its literally a right-right-left (about a five-minute walk).

Anita and Terry gave us a very warm welcome and and showed us the studio and bathrooms. In the fridge we found some essentials (bread, cheese, milk) and tea and coffee was available. That really made our day. So we made ourselves a nice cup of tea and settled right in. 
The studio is tastefully decorated and you can see right away how much thought and love went into it. With the weather being really bad on one day, we had a lie in -it felt just like home.

Everything is clean and up to date. Having certain dietary restraints, having a kitchen for our own cooking is essential for us. The fridge/freezer was immacutaly clean and with lots of space for our food shopping. All the essentials are there (pots, pans, cutlery). In our stay there was never a time when we couldnt use a bathroom, there was always one free to use.

Anita and Terry were ever so helpful and made us feel welcome from the beginning.  Can see us coming again for many times.
