We have been operating a bed and breakfast for 3 years, including a seperate apartment for self catering accommodation. My wife´s background is in interior design, having worked for 20 years training staff for IKEA. I´ve previously worked in catering as a chef, having opened the kitchens in 3 gastropubs in the London area. We chose our slightly remote, countryside location, with close proximity to the sea, as we wanted guests who enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing holiday, far from the maddening stresses of their busy lives.
