This is our second stay and probably not our last! The apartment is beautiful and very well equipped. Beds all comfy and nice bathrooms with hot showers etc. We are a family of five and relax instantly when we come. It is a short stroll to Salo promenade and has the most fantastic supermarket close by. We always hire a car as this is most convenient with kids. Some of the attractions that we go to are an hours drive away so it is advisable to plan where you want to go before booking. Alice is lovely and speaks good English and there was a bootle of wine to welcome us. The apartment has lots of basics like dishwasher tablets, cling film, food basics, soap etc which is really handy so you don't have to buy everything for your stay. The swimming pool is kept beautifully clean. The apartments are mostly owned by Italians who can be a bit precious about the pool. No rubber rings, lilos etc were allowed and no swimming between 1-3pm which was frustrating one day when that was the only time the sun was out. We respected their wishes and found the lake so beautiful to swim in anyway it wasn't a problem. The air conditioning is amazing in the apartment and the whole place feels so secure as its gated. I would recommend to anyone for a relaxing stay. There is also a Wii to keep the kids amused and DVD player etc if it rains! The whole place is really well thought out. We will be back!

The appartement is very good and has all the things you might need on your holiday. It is situated conveniently at a few minutes walking from the center of Salo with beach, boats, plenty of restaurants etc.. We came here for the second time, because we really liked it. The only downside is that the pool is rather cold;

Absolutely loved our stay in this apartment in Salo. Any queries were dealt with promptly before arrival, and Alice who met us with the keys was extremely helpful. The apartment had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, lovely balcony and furniture, air conditioning (essential as we arrived in a heatwave!), really good wi-fi (we had teenagers!), washing machine etc. The pool was fantastic, and although more sunbeds would have been lovely, it was great to know that you had two reserved for your sole use. It was only a short walk to two supermarkets, the lakeside and all that Salo had to offer.  Thankyou - I would love to return!

We had a fantastic family holiday in the apartment. It was modern, well equipped and very suitable for our family with 3 young adults. Everything was as new, with most of the furniture and fittings coming from Ikea. The beds were very comfortable and the washing machine was a real bonus, as was the use of the garage to keep the car cool. Having two bathrooms also made life much easier with 5 of us. Overall, the apartment was far better equipped than most standard holiday rentals. Like having your own home away from home. There were even DVDs, guides and books available. The WiFi worked well at first but became very slow later in the week. I dont know if we used up an allowance perhaps? We didnt make much use of the pool as, coming from Cyprus, we found it a bit on the cool side! But it was clean and well maintained -  as were the gardens and all the communal areas. Eating on the balcony for 5 was a bit of a squeeze due to its width, but we managed! The Lakeside is within an easy walk as is the supermarket and a whole host of bars and restaurants. Salo is a lovely old town with a boardwalk and promenade as well as plenty of back streets to explore. My son enjoyed his early morning runs along the lake. You can also take a boat from the waterfront to explore many other towns around Lake Garda. We had some difficulty in finding the apartment initially as the building is at right angles to the main road and is not really signed until you get to the front gate. We had to drive up and down until we recognised the architecture from the photos. Il Parco faces a large car park also used for the Saturday morning market. Perhaps this could be included in the directions. Alison, the keyholder, was very friendly, flexible and helpful. The welcome wine was also much appreciated! Thank you for a wonderful stay!.

We have just spent a very nice week in Salo. The apartment was very good for us (family with two small kids), and we only used two of three bedrooms. Also a nice swimming pool, easy access from garage to apartment, 10 minute walk to the town center/waterfront, 5 minute walk to a large supermarket. 

Cons? Wifi was really slow for us. The main balcony is a bit narrow if you want to have breakfast/lunch/dinner outside (now it seats two people comfortably and you can squeeze in four people if you make an effort). 

But all in all, we were very pleased with the apartment, and Salo as a town.

As we were on a touring holiday coming from Budapest it was important to have secure parking for our own car. The underground garage with own lift was just perfect, and so well maintained. In fact the whole complex, especially the pool area, was beautifully laid out and maintained.

The apartment itself was of a high standard with good quality fittings and furnishings and everything worked perfectly. I must mention the air conditioning which was the most effective we have experienced in private property. We arrived in a 35 degree heat wave, and it only got hotter, yet the air conditioning coped wonderfully and so quickly.

The only minor negative in our case was, although the apartment was clean throughout, it was very dusty, especially underfoot, This may have been due to the fact that  I understand it had not been occupied recently.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great property in the very beautiful town of Salo.  We went out of season so many things in the town were closed, but that didnt detract from a great holiday.
The apartment itself was ideal for a family of 5.  Very spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean.  We got great support from owner and local contact prior to, and during during our stay.
Salo is a great base for a holiday in the area, we explored the towns surrounding the Lake and Verona.

Overall the flat is great.

The only disappointment was when we first arrived the free Wi-fi was not working.  It took us 2 days to get in touch with the owner and 2 days for the owner to fix.  I and my husband both need to keep in contact with our work in Hong Kong during the long summer break.  So, its an inconvenience that we rather not had.

We also were on holiday with a 8 years old and our parents-in-law.  A bit of english speaking TV entertainment in the evening will be nice.  Instead we have no idea how to fix up the TV and cable system to speak english.  No instruction was left to assist..
