 The villa was in a lovely location with good views. The outside space was good. However inside was very basic and not what we expected for the price paid. We have stayed independently in villas for over 20 years so know what to expect. There was no "villa folder" with details for our stay which is standard in all villas. A lot of the glassware was chipped, the fridge freezer had a very large crack right across the glass shelf. There was only 1 old fan in the property. For 5 people at least 2 were needed. The en suite bathroom was very dated and in need of a complete makeover. We did have a cleaner in twice during our visit with clean linen so that was a nice touch. The villa could be stunning but sadly needs some TLC.

Great penthouse. We loved sight from the balcony and the glass sunroom on the veranda which was great for breakfast. All facilities there, including basics like salt, pepper, toilet paper, oil etc. The only pity was that there was no no wifi, but this was well stated in the advert. Nevertheless an internet cafe nearby and we just bought a Meo card for 10 Euro (easy to buy) which gave us enough internet for usage during 8 days (everywhere). The owner Renato was very flexible regarding the time of key hand-over and he explained everything very well. We also gave tips regarding good restaurants like d'Aurora which we loved. There were also two bikes we could use, which we did. Also great was that it was also near the Esmoriz trainstation (15 min walk) which brings you to the middle of Porto within 30 minutes (so no parking problems and great port tasting ;-)). The bakery is a 5 min walk and the beach is 20 ride on the bike. We had an excellent time.
