We recently stayed at Truilli Sant'Oronzo for 2 weeks. We cannot recommend this highly enough. We are pretty well travelled and we had great hopes for Puglia &amp; the Truili, we were delighted with both. The truili is beautifully restored and a great combination of modern &amp; homely. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The pool and eating area are lovely and used constantly during our stay. We were warmelly welcomed on arrival and shown around by Piero the owner. They very thoughtfully provided an excellent guide to the area, beaches, restaurants etc. All the recommendations were 'spot on' a great mix of local relaxed excellent restaurants and upscale too. We were in contact throughout our stay with any help we needed and further recommendations. The truili is perfectly located. Quiet area which was very relaxing but within 10 minutes drive of great beaches, restaurants and town. Further wonderful towns within the area are only around 20-30 minutes also. Note - A car is essential. There is so much to see and do and yet totally perfect to do nothing! We came with high expectations and we were delighted. We are most definitely booking again!

Charming high quality house with lovely pool and relaxation area. Near to many towns, villages yet in the heart of Puglia farming of under cultivated olive groves. In that respect, quite rural. Plenty of shops and eateries nearby. 
Trulli is small with low arches linking rooms, and it is stuffy at night-air con does not solve this. Security doors are a concern but easy once you get used to them. It would be nice to have a mini kitchen outside (fridge especially) since we lived outside!
Helpful owners, always available, never intrusive. 
A wonderful relaxing real part of Italy you ought to visit.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say except that we had to leave! The owners were wonderful, very friendly, accommodating, with excellent recommendations, and even helped me pay a parking ticket! Of course everything was clean and there were thoughtful touches everywhere, but the real magic was in the place itself. Both the interior and exterior spaces are well proportioned, thoughtful, used quality materials and engender a sense of peace and privacy that is very hard to achieve in Europe. We want to stay here again and again.

For the last week of August we enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Trullo Sant' Oronzo . Piero and family were utterly charming and could not have been more helpful in trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The Trullo was immaculate and being surrounded by ancient olives groves made for a very peaceful setting. For us with three young boys in tow it was fantastic as they played in the pool all day ( with their noise not an issue for anyone ) and then we headed off to L' Assunta for food to bring back home or headed out somewhere local for supper. Locals were extremely friendly and welcoming and even our pigeon Italian didn't cause offence! One point worth mentioning is that the pillows are quite hard so if you prefer a soft one - bring your own. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity.

Beautiful trulli in the midst of an olive grove.

We spent a wonderful week at this trulli. It is very conveniently located to explore Puglia. It is located in the countryside in the midst of a beautiful olive grove. The outdoor space is really well thought out and immaculately maintained. Beautiful pool and great outdoor bench. The trulli is very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Everything is very clean. Excellent help and interactions with the owners. Great value for money.
Strongly recommended place to stay in lovely Puglia.

This was our second holiday at Trulli SantOronzo. This time it was even better than the last. It is a peaceful relaxing place to stay with everything we could need. The location is close enough to the beach and the lovely bakery Panificio LAssunta. My three year old loved the swimming pool and spent many hours playing in there. The garden is very secure and again ideal for playing. The owners are very welcoming and are available for any problems or questions and keen to solve everything quickly. It is not the cheapest place you can rent, but with the well equipped house, beautiful garden, swimming pool and lovely covered eating area it is good value for money and we will be returning again.

We spent a peaceful week in this wonderful location in the middle of ancient olive groves. The trulli were delightful and beautifully restored . the owner went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.
The  beaches were unspoilt and there were plenty of attractions to explore.

My boyfriend and I spent a very relaxing 10 days in this charming villa, located in beautiful quiet country-side with only Olive trees over-looking us.  The Trulli is perfectly located being only a short distance from beaches, historic towns, spectacular views and scenery, ancient caves and local amenities.  The Trulli itself had all the necessary equipment and facilities we needed for our stay.  The outdoor space is perfect with BBQ area, fabulous pool and shaded seating/eating area. Inside it was cool, clean and comfortable.  We were even welcomed with a bottle of the local wine as well as lots of useful information on when and where to visit while we were there.  If you are looking to get away from it all and have some peace and quiet this villa is perfect for you.

Beautiful designed property, immaculate condition, stunningly secluded area. Very relaxing with close proximity to towns to visit. 
 Loved the outdoor shower and outdoor area. Owner and his son were delightful and very approachable. 
Might take my own pillow next time and towels could have been bit more luxurious.

This is a stunning and stylish property.  The first time we stayed here (2 weeks in 2011) we loved it so much and had such a great holiday, that we booked again for a week this year (August 2012).  The trulli, lamia and gardens have been beautifully and stylishly restored and furnished, creating a really special place to stay.  It is in the middle of olive groves, yet just a short drive from the sea, shops and restaurants.  There are plenty of magical places to visit within half an hour or so, and we spent some wonderful evenings out and about. We will return I am sure!
