Ecoibiza Villas

Lovely villa in a great location with a stunning pool and beautiful views of both the mountains and the sea. The barbecue area was well used and made our stay even more enjoyable.  The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also of a high standard.  We appreciated the fact that there were basic cupboard staples and Nespresso but it would have been useful to know this before as we stocked up on some unnecessary items on our way to the villa.  Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Romero II in Ibiza. 
Only issue that could have been made clearer was the distance from shops and towns, the cost for taxi travel and the difficulty in getting taxis to travel to the location. In the end it was not an issue as we shared driving duties however, if it had been possible to arrange taxi transport to towns for less than 40 Euros then it would have given us an extra travel option. We do know that it was clear on the advert that car hire was essential and that it was 3km to the nearest shop.
The internet signal was poor but this was explained at check-in.

When I booked this villa I thought Id found a brilliant property - until I got there. There are no words to describe how great this place is. Visible from the road out of San Antonio, the old finca tower is like a homing beacon, standing out against the hilly Ibizan landscape. The pool area is shaded by stunning orange and lemon trees with beautiful views over the valley. Theres a barbeque, a lounge bed, sun loungers and even a plug so you can plug in a CD player while you laze about around the pool. Inside is traditional and rustic, with plenty of room for 8 people. Excellent facilities - only 2 bathrooms though - comfortable beds, TV, wifi, kitchen and sitting area upstairs with wonderful views.

San Antonio itself is walkable (the stony drive down to the road is a little steep), and theres even a bar at the bottom of the drive. If you dont fancy the walk, its about 7 euros to town - but ask the taxi driver to save your number otherwise it takes ages to get through.

Perfect blissful place to spend a quiet week or as a respite from partying, and is ideal for families or groups.

Despite Ibiza now being very expensive to visit I felt this villa did not represent great value for money. Presentation of villa was not as immaculate as that shown in the photos which is an unpleasantly rare occurrence for me. Light fittings where short of their lamps, controllers for TV / Satellite had expired batteries, and CD player had broken and was unplayable. I felt all of this should have been checked before my arrival. Items duly replaces on day 3 following notification on day 1 but disappointing none the less.
On the positive side - fantastic views and well located to get around the island.

Cana Maria is perfectly situated with everything you needed minutes away by car. On arriving at the property we were very impressed, the pictures on the website do not do the property justice, the villa has been finished with great care and thought and provides everything you need as well as plenty of room.
A great villa that we will without doubt visit again soon.
