The owner gave good instructions how to get to the Villa on the phone, and her representative came to pick us up at the nearby store and showed us the house. They both were very nice and helpful and they spoke fluent english.

The Villa was clean and very nice. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with 2 single beds (this was not very clear in the description). 

Note that there is no air conditioning, so it gets quite warm in the bedrooms. However we found it manageable with the fans provided in the house, although it was end of August and high temperatures.

The villa was basically as described, but we would not have thought to have checked if there was an electric kettle available ( which there was not).  The area is quite pretty with lovely shelved beaches within a very short distance, but we would have found it hard to have discovered them since the owner never presented herself and neither thought to leave any information whatsoever about the area or a small map in the villa.  We found oursleves in a virtually Turkish speaking area and had it not been for the fact the the next door villa was occupied by an English fluent Turkish speaker, I think we would still be looking for the village of Alacati!!  Compared with other villas we have rented in Turkey, the villa was very basic with one wardrobe for three bedrooms and very few plates or cutlery to cope for 4 nor 5 people.  We were just two, and struggled a little.  Be aware that there is a charge of £15 per person if you would like bed linen and a shower towel. The pool was clean and well maintained but unfenced and useless for small children who would not be able to stand  anywhere in it.  Also overlooked by 8 other villas and not at all private.  There were no sunloungers for our villa - but the next door neoighbour explained that 4 sunloungers were to be shared amongst 3 villas.

We were very disappointed and would certainly not recommend to any friends whatsoever, but if you like windsurfing or want to drive to Ephasus (2 hours) you might like to think about it.  We would never return.

We stayed at the Alacati Villa in October-November 2011 - I came over fro the stats and my family visited from the USSR.  The villas are beautifully build three bedrooms with large open space in living room.  The villas are fully furnished and kitchens are equipped well for cooking.  They are well located vis-a-vis the rest of the town, though we still found having a rental car to be useful 

Ozlem, who owns and manages these properties, is a wonderful host.  She was EXTREMELY helpful throughout - in deciding what we needed, in helping set up travel arrangements for pick up from the airport, and in helping us navigate around the area and the city of Izmir.  We are very grateful.

The complex is beautifully maintained, with a super sparkly pool.  It was a perfect, quiet spot for a family get away.  The villa is large enough that we had four adults and a baby and did not get under one anothers feet.  Alacati is a lovely spot with great windsurfing and we enjoyed a trip to Cesme too. We chose Alacati because of an article written in the Independent describing the town the best kept secret of Turkish holiday makers. It certainly was a gem, very Turkish and unspoilt. There were lots of tourists but mainly Turkish. The old town is made up of old stone houses along narrow streets, dotted with shops selling antiques, jewellery, clothes and gifts and an abundance of restaurants. The best  food we tasted was at Asma Yapragi, where the owner took us into the kitchen, showed us what had been cooked that day and told us about the ingredients used. The slow cooked lamb was delicious.

The house we stayed in was great- everything we needed for a weeks stay. We did some cooking but eating out was so cheap we didnt really bother after the first day or so. The house was one of 11 or 12  surrounding a pool area, very quiet and relaxing. It was within walking distance of a supermarket and the old town described above. 
We hired a car and went to Ephesus and Marys House which took us just over an hour and a half. We also went to chios by ferry from Cesme. It took about 30 minutes to Cesme and an hour on the ferry for 10 euros each. For the rest of the time we walked around alacati and relaxed by the pool. The owner, Ozlem was very helful in giving advice about where to eat, what to eat , where to hire bicycles and much, much more. We would certainly recommend this property and this part of Turkey to anyone. Hve fun!!

Beautiful, cool stone house, with loads of room for 6 people. Even when it was baking hot outside it was cool inside, with the sole exception of the smallest room during the day, solved by turning the fan on! The lush green lawn and deep pool were lovely and reality added to the relaxed atmosphere. We were there to attend a wedding at the Solto hotel which is fab, but I much preferred staying in this.
Large supermarket located conveniently five minutes away, as is a bus stop and taxi point. The village is a further five minutes walk, where there are loads if good restaurants and bars as well as shops which while touristy does not feel commercial and the whole place has a charming feel to it. (we went in Sept) the Saturday market was definitely worth a little exploring with its colourful veg and fruit displays. If you are lucky enough to visit, you must try the peaches and the green figs which are just lush!
Another thing to try is the windsurfing, you will need to take a taxi over to the beach which is about 20tl (or you can bus it, but if there are a few if you then taxi is the same) which is awesome. Bear in mind winds seem to favour beginners in the afternoon rather than morning. I had an excellent 2hr lesson with Derya at active-surf.com but there are quite a few operators in the area.
Ozlem is a star, she was super helpful arranging transport to and from the airport despite the difficult times and multiple trips, as well as being generally helpful with telling us about the area. It just made things really easy for us. Thanks so much for a great stay!  I would definitely go back given the opportunity.

We have been to the domaine twice and both times we loved it. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to keep it quiet. We stayed with a teenager and young children and four adults. There was something to suit all. The domaine is close to many scenic towns and villages so we made plenty of short trips to sightsee. The villas are very spacious and well equipped and well laid out. The pools were ideal for our needs with plenty of sun umbrellas and seats. We also enjoyed our meals at the Restaurant and of course the wine was excellent and we tried all varities but loved the Reserva. We also prepared many meals at the villa and enjoyed eating out on the patio. 
We enjoyed every minute of our stay and thought the second visit wouldnt live up to the first but we enjoyed it just as much. I would highly recommend the Domaine.

2 bedroom Villa in heart of prestigious vineyards

This is self-catering accommodation on a working vineyard in the heart of the Languedoc wine growing region of Southern France. We went towards the end of the season (mid Sept) so the site was very quiet - probably only about 4 or 5 of the units occupied. Having said that the site is lovely. Nicely maintained grounds surrounded by vineyards. Decent sized swimming pool, plus a smaller shadier pool. The lady we dealt with, Benedicte, was very helpful and friendly. Nice to have fresh bread and croissants delivered daily. Also, the wine from the vineyard was most quaffable (Pinot Noir and Cabernet Savignon very nice). I think because the site was quiet, Benedicte upgraded us to a larger unit with three bedrooms, very roomy for 4 adults - lovely gravelled area at the front to enjoy the warm weather. The accommodation was basic but clean and everything worked. The vineyard is about 2 miles outside the town of Adge. The nearest supermarket we found was a Carrefour about two miles away in Marseillan. Car essential. There was a restaurant on site, but because we were at the end of the season it wasnt open much and we didnt try it, so cant comment on it. In the area, Agde is not much to see, very quiet but some nice restaurants on the riverfront. Not to keen on Cap dAgde, modern purpose built resort in the 60s and 70s I would guess, not much character. Really loved Sete (35 min drive) lovely working port on the med with lots of lovely waterfront seafood restaurants, and Pezenas (25 min), old town with lots narrow streets and courtyards etc. Montpellier and Carcassonne both about 1.5 hours away. Cant fail to mention "Djinn", the friendliest dog in Southern France who would come to check on us regularly to make sure all was well! My daughter really missing him!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Beaumont. The villa was well-equipped, if a little hot, and we loved the proximity to the pools, the creche and our friends villa. It was very safe for the children so we felt comfortable letting them run between our villa and our friends. The pools were lovely, particularly the smaller one and although we went out and about a bit, it was nice to have a restaurant on site too. We also liked the delivery of bread in the morning. staff were friendly and helpful and there when you needed, but not at all overbearing. However, the best thing about our holiday was LIsa, who ran the creche. We had booked for afternoons and I really thought my younger child would not want to go, preferring to stay with his friends who were older. I was wrong! Both children asked every day when they could go and see Lisa, and although the creche facility was fairly small (and hot), Lisa kept them both fully entertained. Every day my son came back with some ingenious creation that Lisa had improvised! She was also flexible and didnt mind if were late coming off the beach and had to change our timings a little, provided we kept in touch. Again, this enabled us to relax rather than constantly worrying about the time. She was also wonderful with my daughter who has special needs. Naturally it is a concern for us when booking holiday care as not everyone has the experience or patience to manage a child like ours. Yet Lisa more than managed! She replied promptly and thoroughly to my questions and concerns ahead of the holiday and when we were on site, just took everything in her stride. My daughter adored her. This meant that my husband and I could spend a few hours each day relaxing and reading - a very rare treat - knowing that our children were not only in great hands, but having a great time too!

3 bedroom Villa in heart of prestigious vineyards

Lovely villa, and a good size even when there were five of us. Beds were comfortable and most of the rooms were cool and quiet too. Pool was slightly on the small side but clean and very modern.

The local supermarket (Tesco-owned!?) was just a couple of minutes walk, which was invaluable for a self-catering villa, especially if you dont have a car. 

We had a great stay and the owner was very helpful especially as none of us spoke Turkish. Thanks, and recommended!

experience was fantastic  - booking was v straightforward even though we changed our dates : owner was extremely helpful with practical stuff, airport transfers and even a second change of dates whilst we were actually there. 
Thought property itself is lovely - relaxed surroundings and attractive interior. It was very clean & furnished welcomingly and tastefully with perfect balance of anything you need at hand , without any sense of living in someone elses space
