An extremely clean and spacious villa, which provided excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

We spent one week in this holiday home and felt very much at home. The care provided locally by the cousin of the owner was to our complete satisfaction. (handing over of keys, arranging contacts, car hire, transfer to the airport and interpreting for the housekeeper). The house was very clean, well equipped, we felt very comfortable. We weren’t able to enjoy the beautiful terrace unfortunately as we were out all day and wanted to explore. The beach, shops and bus route are all 5 minutes walk away. We did enjoy having the car though. The water is heavy to carry, let alone the wine and the rum -) We especially liked the beaches in Le Morne (15 km) and Tamarin Bay (next to the Tamarin Bay Golf Hotel) besides the local beach. Hiking through the Black River National Park (Macchabie View) was great. We ate at the Bay Hotel and at our favourite the Thai Take-away where you can also sit in the secluded garden if you like. In the evening it was often quite busy. Casela Bird Park would also be a good attraction for children. Mr Lohar Germany April 2014
