<p>I rented this place 3 years ago and loved it. The flat is the same, unfortunately the area has changed. Once a nice quiet area, which mainly had locals has been inundated with others which have bought the area. the area is now a lot busier: both mahmutlar and anlanya. If you are the adventurous sort who is likely to spend the majority of your time away from mahmutlar exploring the beautiful coast and mountains then its probably still worth going. Also i felt the price we had to pay for cleaning before and after we arrived was quite high.</p>

Great apartment. The owner is very helpful and easy to get in contact with. In a great location close to the shops, beach and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

Have just returned from 2 fabulous weeks at this apartment. It is a great apartment for the money, and we were well looked after by Hassan, the caretaker. It is like a home from home - it has everything you could need including towels and beach towels, hairdryer, hair straighteners, buckets, spades - the lot! The apartment is located in a residential area in between Mahmutlar and Kargicak - it is an ideal location as it is quiet but close to everything. The beach is only a short walk away, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The pool is immaculate and we had it to ourselves most of the time. There is no need to hire a car - it is really easy to get around on the local Dolmus buses - they run frequently and only cost one lira each to travel locally, and 2.5 lira to go into Alanya. 
We tried a few restaurants - the closer you get to the main part of Mahmutlar by the clock tower, the more expensive it becomes. Without doubt the best restaurant we found was the Magic Garden which you can walk to from the apartment - the staff were fantastic, the food was great and it was really good value for money.
If you want to do any trips - ask Hassan as he can arrange things cheaper. Also arrange an airport transfer - we used Mahmutlartransfer.com who were really helpful. Taxis from the aitport are expensive. Beware the taxi drivers in Alanya as they are total rip off merchants - you can get a bus up to the castle, and it is worth walking down as there are some lovely stalls and places to eat/drink on the mountain.
All in all a great place to stay - highly recommended!

my son and I along with a mate had  2 really good weeks in these apartments,close to all the shops and minutes from the beach,in a quite area of mahatmular but just a dolmus  ride away to the the busy part of the town at a cost of 1 lira (33p).
the owners have thought of everything all you need is in the apartment,nice pool area.

Hassan the on site caretaker could not do enough for you a well run little complex. thank you.

the property was in a good position easy walk to beach and main roed where buses were very plentiful. the caretaker was very helpful and kept the gardens and pool area in excellent condition.the apartment was well equiped but the beds were in a rather poor state and needed replacing and the bedding did not fit the beds properly.The only noise was the generator but this was only switched on twice during our 12 day stay so was not a problem. I would have liked more photos of the building,pool and inside of the apartment when considering booking as it was just a bit unknown. I would think more photos would make this apartment more letable.as the photos with the advert were only of Alanya

Fnantastic appartment for the price, close to everything. Would recommend you rent a car to get around though.  Hasan was fabulous.  Will be booking again to come here

The owner had thought of absolutely everything and for all ages. 
The fixtures and fittings we functional and decorative essentially the property far exceeded our expectations.
On arrival our driver could not find the property and so I rang the owner who answered the phone after four rings and organised the building manager Mr Hassan to come to find us which he did. The owner was exemplary despite the lateness of the hour. Mr Hassan contributed to our stay immensely.  
Once we vacated the property we re-booked # 8 for an additional 7 days which failed to live up to the high standards set by # 4, which was unavailable.
I would suggest that directions to the property be made available in Turkish as few locals can read English well.

Just returned from a week in Mahmutlar and stay at this excellent apartment.On arrival at 4o clock in the morning we were met by the caretaker manager Hassan,couldnt have been more helpfull during our stay.The apartment was an excellent size with one ensuite bathroom and one family bathroom.3 balconies could go on and on.Thanks again if coming to this area again would definately Stay Here!!!!!
