What a fab time we had,  the apartment is lovely so much outdoor private space,  we loved the roof terrace for our morning cuppa and the front patio for chilling after a hard day at the beach.  The BBQ was a great plus.  Pool area is so clean and even though we went in August was never busy, plenty of loungers for all,  lots of grassy space for kids too.  The marina is about a 1/2 hour walk , beaches around 40 mins walk but there is a bus route right on the island at the back entrance of the Hilton which is only 0.80 each and only takes 10 mins will drop u at beaches or marina.  Spa shop about 10 mins walk so no need for car.  what more can I say marina is fab our favourite restaurant was The Haven and fab snack bar Caddyshack.  Both beaches were lovely but our favourite was marina beach.   Thank u so much for a lovely holiday base. 

Ipanema, Vilamoura

Great villa, well equipped and comfortable size. Only improvement would be a pair of oven gloves but if that is all we have to complain about then it must be good!! Pool exceeded expectations on size and it was never busy with ample sun loungers. Vilamoura was lovely as previous reviews have mentioned too far to walk with small children in midday sun in July/ August but we made the walk every evening of about 25mins with 11 and 14 yr old. Falesia beach is lovely, you can take the tourist train or car and park for free with a short walk. The marina is lovely for food but go in a few streets and food is a bit cheaper. Overall very pleased with our stay :)

We loved being a little bit outside the main tourist area, but we did have a car to get around - to the beach and the supermarket etc. The pool is a minute's walk from the villa, and it was lovely. Although July, there weren't too many people around the pool, so relaxing and safe. There is a basic pool bar, but the drinks were cheap. The lovely Hilton is also a minute's walk from the villa, although the drinks are a lot more expensive there!
As for the villa itself, it is very well equipped. There were only two of us, but there was ample room for another couple of people/children. The 2 large bathrooms were a bonus. It was very clean and comfortable. Sky News is basically the only English channel available, but we were on holiday - didn't need any more than that.
The only downside was no wifi, but it was hard to get even in the restaurants &amp; bars. We often went to The Hilton in the evenings for a drink and used their wifi before heading down to the Marina.
Loved the villa and the whole area.

The Villa/apartment could not be better, the decor lovely, kitchen very well
 equipped, beds comfortable.  The distance away from the actual area of Villamoura is about 2 miles, we walked all the time but for children could be too far, and in the heat of July/August too hot.  The pool area and pool itself very nice. 
I wish we had taken some music with us, because the tv channels were awful!!
The only fault I can say is we didn't receive a welcome package so did not know how to get into the villa, thought at first we had been scammed, I had no phone no, so had to go to the Hilton Hotel just up the road, and use their wifi...perhaps it was my fault not to have checked first, but quite honestly we have not stayed with Click stay before and I didn't think, thought someone would be there to meet us.  In the end we had to open a cupboard in the car port and the key was in a key safe, and we now knew the number to open the safe.
We stayed there in Oct.
Good holiday tho.

Even though its a little out of the way , its quiet and safe. The pool area is large as is the pool.
The tourist train runs every 1/2 hr from outside the Hilton hotel  just across the road  and for 2 E each  or less for return you can travel right to the Center of Vilamora. There are 2 companys running trains one takes you right to the beach just ask the driver.
the apartment is clean and modern, every mod-con in the kitchen.Bed and bathrooms light and bright.

We really enjoy the villa and apreciate the welcome package. We recommend and if we need accomodation in future holiday, we will repeat. We just have a sugestion: in stays more than a week (we stay 15 days), should change the towels and sheets and a refresh clean. While we stay there, no one appear to do that. The property was spotlessly clean, spacious and was the perfect home for our week in Portugal. As mentioned in previous reviews the pictures do not really do it justice. Its location is good, with the gorgeous community pool about 30 second walk up the road and local beaches just a short drive away. The outside spaces were a godsend to us as when our toddler took her daily nap we were able to make the most of the roof top solarium to sunbathe. The only negative I could find with it, was that the air con unit in our bedroom was very noisy when set to a cool temperature, which was fine during the day but not so great if your a light sleeper. But I did leave a note for the local key holder to have a look at it so hopefully that will be rectified for future guests. All in all, we really couldnt recommend this property highly enough and would love to return in future.

A really nice apartment which has everything you need. Yes as a precious reviewing has said the satellite TV wasnt working but we didnt miss it and Im sure it will be fixed. We did use the dishwasher and washing machine wich worked a treat. Recommended but only if you have a car.
Plus Points, nice spacious villa with good facilities, pool better than expected with lots of space around it and never a problem getting a lounger.
Minus Points, it was a bit too far out from the marina and beach which mean walking was not feasible with young children very often although we did do it a couple of times. A car is essential.

Very pleased with this property. Very well presented, modern and clean. Location excellent and swimming pool a delight. Would say you need a car though. Hope to return in the future.
Only useful addtion in the property would be information about local shops and restaurants.
