We visited with a party of seven and had a lovely holiday. The villa is very peaceful and has wonderful views all around. It is very well equipped and has a lovely swimming pool. You definitely need a car to access the villa as it is a very hilly area and the villa is quite remote. Many lovely places are within easy travelling distance - we visited Antequera, Malaga, Nerja, and Camonito del Rey, which is a wonderful 5 mile walk with spectacular scenery. The lounge and dining area are not large, but we spent all out time outside and had all our meals outside as the weather was beautiful. The kitchen is a good size and quite well equipped. The barbecue came in very handy! The agent, Rocio, was constantly in touch by email and text, so problems could be ironed out very quickly.

A great villa in a tranquil spot. Beautiful views and the villa is great, I would think a car is essential. Rocio was so helpful and communication excellent. We had a wonderful week by the pool and exploring the mountains and coast with the kids.

Thanks for the review, Emily, it is much appreciated :-) We're extremely pleased you enjoyed the villa and the surrounding areas! CHRIS & GUILLEM

The Finca is in a stunning position. Beautiful views. Very peaceful. The road to the Finca was not a problem. The Sky TV did not work, but apart from that everything was fine and I'd go again.

Thanks for your review, Trevor. We apologise for the problems with the satellite TV (some of the channels should have worked, at least) - there have been issues since the transition to Astra 2E and 2F satellites over the last 12 months in Southern Spain. Whilst you will have seen we also supply a Digibox for Spanish TV, I appreciate this may not be appropriate for non-Spanish speakers, so from July 2015 an Android box is being installed in the villa which should give access to streaming TV from all over the world, via the internet. Thanks again for your review and we're glad you'd consider going to the villa again. Please contact Rocio for a discount on your next visit as a gesture of goodwill on our part for the inconvenience with the satellite issue. CHRIS & GUILLEM

We went there last August, and we had a great time. The kids wont leave the swimming pool, and there were couples of villages around for shopping. The view was amazing, and the reality was better than the photos. Well do it again.

I visited the villa with five of my friends for a relaxing week. We did not have a car however, as we planned to have a relaxing week this was not a problem. The villa is luxury and had everything we needed. The host (Rocio) was great in organising us taxis to Colmenar & Malaga. All we needed to do was give him a text and he would send someone round. This was good to stock up on essentials like beer and wine. The villa was far enough away from other villas that we were able to have music playing throughout the night. The BBQ and pool was great and the views were also amazing. Although we did not need one, I think we would hire a car next time in order to get out and about. My only suggestion would be to have a welcome book in the villa to explain things like where the bins go, how the cooker/ washing machine works/ how to start the BBQ etc. Other than that, the villa was amazing, in a nice location and very very relaxing.

Villa is smaller than appears in the photos though is well equipped and the pool house room was nicely finished, even though the water pressure left a lot to be desired! The access road definitely gave cause for concern and needed attention. We travelled in our own car from the UK and actually sustained damage to the underside due to the ruts and poor surface, so would suggest a 4wd is essential. The owners, however, contributed to the repairs. The outside space is fine, but for a mixed group such as ours, was quite compact. The area behind the finca could be developed into a small garden. That saying, views were stunning and this is a quiet retreat and would give it 7 out of 10.
