we know benalmadena well and love it have been in many apts and hotels this apt would benifit from a really good clean and new bed sheets other wise oaky area and gardens are lovely

I want to begin by saying how helpful and readily available the owner was from the point of first showing an interest in this property in January 2017. This helpful spirit continued right through booking and our stay at Roquetas. Email welcome messages etc were a great sense of reassurance that your custom was valued by the owner. Paul the gentleman who runs the CMS property company that looks after the villa locally could not have been more helpful and friendly reminding us that if we needed anything he was literally just around the corner. We are a family of five so were a little concerned that we might find the property too small...not the case...Having a very pleasant courtyard/patio area was perfect for the family to eat outside and to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the apartment complex. The villa had a lovely "whitewashed" Spanish feel...perfect for us and more than adequate for our needs. The location of this villa could not have been better....beside a supermarket, 3 mins walk to the beach and within no more than 5 minutes of a great variety of restaurants and bars. The kitchen was well equipped with all your needs for cooking for a family and had great supply of crockery...so many holiday rentals just have the basics...sic glassed etc etc....not this one...it has a great stock of everything for catering....ot was also good to have a really good charcoal bbq....this made evening's in very enjoyable. The aircon was on a metre but was very reasonable with aircon running for 150 minutes on just €1...perfect and effective way of cooling both the upstairs bedroom and the living room. I think we spent about €20 euro for the week. The beds were another thing we were nervous about.....a double sofa bed can often be a let down; sofa beds are often not great...this sofa bed was excellent to sleep on....again better than what we expected for our daughters to sleep on. In the end it was so comfy we preferred it to the singles upstairs and made it our bed for the whole stay. There is also a comfortable little double sofa bed in the entrance porch/sunroom which was more than suitable for our 9yr old son....it would accommodate twomluds or one shortish adult. It was good to have a fan supplied as an extra which helped to cool the sunroom at bedtime. The house has a very useful safe for locking away all your travel documents and cash/bank cards etc. All the entrance and exits to the complex are gated and locked which means the whole place seemed safe and secure for your stay. It was left very clean and tidy for our arrival. It was also good to have private car parking space in the complex gated carpark as it would have been difficult to fund a parking space on the busy streets around the villa...well done again! The pool was just 15 metres from the villa gate. The pool is just shy of 40 metres long and 20 metres wide....making it an excellent size for swimming lengths and the gentle exercise needed for those over indulgent evening's! There are a number of parasols around the pool area and plenty of lovely grassed areas for sunbathing at the pool. The pool benefits from great showers, toilets and a changing area. If the pool isn't your thing the villa has 4 sunbeds in the courtyard/patio area for those little private sleeps in the sun...perfect tranquility. The whole complex is immaculate, very clean and well maintained.The tennis court had an aged surface, but for the amateur family tennis match it was perfect!!! Roquetas as a place is a long 7km spanish village with literally hundreds of restaurants and bars....this is not tacky package holiday spain overrun with brits abroad....quite the opposite in fact. It is very Spanish, with menus in spanish and mostly Spanish tourists....giving it a more authentically Spanish feel. We were never disappointed in any bar or restaurant but highly recommend Coconut on the Play a de Serena for a nice pre-dinner drink where you will be spoiled by "Papa" the owner....never had so many free nibbles served in any bar anywhere...it was exceptional! We also enjoyed drinks at Pape's just at the end of the street running towards the beach from the villa. The beach is quiet, simply because it is so long, but has nice white sand and again lots of seafront restaurants and bars to choose from for lunch or tapas. The beach is very windy but we found that driving to the beach just beyond the very beautiful marina/port area of the town made for a change of scenery and a calmer sea on windy days...if you don't have a car there are plenty of cheap taxis available. The whole Roquetas de Mar experience was a good one and we will be back again very soon. I would recommend this villa to anyone as a good value place to make your base for a family holiday in Roquetas de Mar. Well done to the owner for providing a good value holiday accommodation and for being careful to make sure there guests were looked after well. Thank you. Willie and Caroline.

sorry to leave it so late to thank you , House was perfect and appreciate the help from the other Paul.
The only problem was the tv and that was soon fixed with a replacement box.

Yes the comunity is now gated and secure.
The house was clean and tidy when I moved in and I hope I left it the same condition 

Hope to return next year provided the destitute bankers do not require more of my cash to ease their hadship.
