I've got mixed feelings. Apartment looks like in advert and view from balcony is beautiful. However on the whole Casares Del Sol development is not even one shop, no restaurants, no bars, no cash machines and to the local beach is 1 km. There is one restaurant in the golf club (you need to walk about 10 - 15 minutes). In very hot weather with small children is difficult. This development is situated in area where definitely you should hire a car or get a taxi to go anywhere. Big PLUS for owner, who sort out all things quickly and allow to stay tenants longer time in apartment until have a later flight. Area is good for people who like silence 24/7. There are also 2 swimming pools shared with fence so there is no risk that child will accidentally fall to look for adults (2 metres deep). My summary is: I can give 4🌟 for owner and 3 🌟 for local area.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was good . The grounds and swimming pool were lovely . The only downside was the patio chairs weren't very comfortable for sitting out on but everything else was very good .

This property was good value for money. The complex was well kept, sadly part of the complex was not completed so let the visual affect down when entering. Once in the propoerty no problem. Security was very good. Location was good for us. Pool was average size and often not many people around which made it more pleasant. Attendant always there. Once you find you bearings, everything is at hand.

This apartment was beautifully furnished and lovely and clean with the added asset of 2 bathrooms. It was very well equipped with kitchen equipment and linen. It is in a very quiet area outside of any main town or village therefore a hire car is an essential to visit places or go to the supermarket. It is a very relaxing complex as it had very few of the private apartments occupied. The management company were very helpful and prompt in meeting us to show us access to the secure grounds and underground parking. We flew to Gibraltar and visited Gib a couple of times which is only a half hour drive away. The owner was extremely helpful in all arrangements during the booking.

Communication with the owner was excellent, we were met at the apartment by the English speaking key holder who was very friendly, he explained how everything worked and where everything on the apartment and complex were, he advised where the best restaurants were and also told us where the nearest supermarket was. The apartment was just as described and was very comfortable and in a peaceful location and the views from the balcony are beautiful. It is a gated complex and felt very safe and it was easily accessible with a key-fob and the gardens are beautiful We will book with this owner again as he was very flexible with letting us stay 17 nights rather than 14 he advised on car hire and sent us enough information on the area to keep our days varied and busy Dave

This is my second time i have rented this apartment and this time was as good as the first. The owner and his keyholder are excellent and if you need anything they are only a phone call away. The Apartment itself is very secure and is superbly furnished its in a great location, not too close to the pool and is so quiet all day and night if you choose to stay in. A very private balcony with lovely views of the mountains. The local beach is a very short drive away and the restaurant on the beach is highly recomended. the beach is massive and is never overcrowded and has fresh water showers and a changing area. The local shops are so close and there is a good amount of supermakets if you choose to stay in and cook and by the way the kitchen has everything you need. I find this apartment is in a great location because its so close to everything you want to do and on this visit we spent a day at Gibraltar, visited the sea life center, a water park, the beautiful whitewashed village of Casares is 15 minutes up the mountain and the views and photo oportunities are endless. We had a day at the amazing town of Ronda and visited the old bull ring and museum there. we also spent time in the apartment, the beach and the pool. Duquesa is fantastic during the day for coffee or on an evening for a nice relaxing meal and you have to try the Mexican restaurant it is excellent. I will book again next year as the location suits all of our family and there are loads of different things to do every day.

We arrived on a late flight and were met at the apartment by the key holder who was very helpful he showed us how everything worked and left us his number to contact him if we experienced any problems. The owner had organised a welcome pack which included bread, milk, eggs, meat, cheese and importantly beer. (There was a small charge for this) The apartment is furnished to a high standard and has everything we needed for a 2 week stay. There are lots to see and do in the area and the apartment is ideally located close to the beach, restaurants and shops. We visited the local Marina several times and dined in an excellent selection of restaurants. The apartment is just as described and the owner was very helpful throughout the whole booking process, he even helped us organise car hire at a cheaper rate than I could find myself.

A very impressive apartment which has everything you could require for the perfect holiday. Well equipped kitchen with quality appliances, a specious dining and lounge area all again with quality furnishings. The grounds of this gated community are kept to a high standard as is the pool area which is peacefully and relaxing. Sun loungers are provided around the pool area and there is ample shade available (there was always space available). You can find plenty of good places to eat at Sabinillas and at the port of Dequesa. We choose to eat-in a number of times and enjoyed the peaceful location. You can actually walk along the beach to Sabinillas or Puerto Dequuesa (it’s much easier to take a taxi though which are quite cheap ?). It’s an ideal location to visit Gibraltar, Puerto Banus etc. This has been by far the best quality and most spacious apartment we have rented for our holidays. We have been renting apartments in Spain for the last several years and nothing has come close to this one, if you visit you will not be disappointed!
