Balear Villas

we had a lovely time - we found the villa was better even than the photos. - a beautiful villa in a great location. - a characterful building with great facilities for a relaxing holiday. the outdoor dining / lounge / bar area was particularly good. we did not need to hire a car (although did for a few days to visit Alcudia and Soller), as we used the buses from just down the road and local taxis. lovely views from the villa of the local hills and countryside. it was easy to get advice and assistance from owners while we were there. it was nice to get mid holiday clean and fresh linen and towels.

the villa could do with a larger kettle and glasses / mugs (but perhaps that is an English need?)

Jon met us to show us around the very large appartment. Communication was excellent and Jon was very accommodating. The location is right on magaluf strip but was 11 floors up so rarely heard very loud music. The pool was lovely and clean and great location for the beach. Just out the front you were on magaluf strip out the back down some stairs led to the beach with a vast range of bars and restaurants and water sports during the day. Overall the apartment had spectacular views over magaluf and was equipped with everything we needed will defiantly be rebooking this apartment in the near future an absolute gem. Many thanks to Jon for all his help during our stay.

Everything was just perfect. The house and teh pool was very clean. The communication and the assistances during our stay was just perfect. We can only recommend the house.

We had a pleasant time at your house but I must say that this is the poorest house we have ever guested in Mallorca. 

We have rented many houses during the past 10 years and your house is in lack of many common things.

Calculate at least 10 Euro per day cause you need to pay for the air-conditioning with 1 Euros 1 per hour :-(
In the kitchen there are only 3 wine glasses ( but the house says that is holds 8 people)

There are only 3 egg cups ( but the house should have at least 8)

There are very few forks, knifes and plates. ( you need to wash them after each meal)

The pans are all broken in the handle and out of shape, they ought to be replaced.

There is not a water pitcher to serve water in or a pitcher if you wish to make Sangria

There are not any whisk to make whipped cream

There is not a citrus press

There is not a garlic press 

There is not a breadbasket

There were no grill tools to use outside but there was an outside grill

There is not a single bowl for serving salad, soup or pasta

There is not a single large serving plate for meats etc.

There are no small bowls for serving cornflakes, yoghurt etc. ( I went out and bought some)

There is not a blender, so you can’t make smoothies or shakes

There was not a single tray to carry food nor plates, glasses etc. on

There are not any coasters for the tables and where do you then put the hot food?

There is not a vase for a bucket of flowers

There are no candlesticks

There is not a dish brush

There was not a dishcloth to wipe down the tables ( brought my own) 

The big knifes are all dull and not working, only the bread knife works fine

The dishwasher is very old and broken, which makes it very hard to place the plates and tall glasses.

Besides from that I find it very unfortunate not to have a vacuum cleaner as well as cleaning detergents for the floors, toilets and baths. We did not do any cleaning because of that. 

All the other places we have rented there has always been tools ass well as cleaning detergent so that you could clean.

The garden was not kept at all. Plants were brown, and many of them dead and not very pleasant to look at. It would have been so nice if the garden had been kept neat and beautiful with green plants and flowers.

The beds were so hard and all of them need knew soft madrases.

The air-condition does not work well, it kept on making noises and should be replaced in the bedroom facing the road and should not be an extra cost!


I must say that I was disappointed. 

Internet worked fine!

The only nice thing was really nice was the view from the house as well as the pool.

I hope that you will look into the all the lacking in your rental home, so that future renters won’t be disappointed to.

Very comfortable villa. The view from the garden is beautiful with magnificent sunsets  The local shops are non touristy which we liked. Good base for exploring coast and easy access to Palma (bus through the village). And did I mention the view?

a super apartment in a fantastic area of santa ponsa, everything is in your doorstep, the price is spot on for what you receive, however I do think the apartment needs an overhaul especially air con, it NEEDS it, was unbearable to sleep some nights, also it needs mirrors to get ready, 4 people crowded round one socket and bathroom mirror is hardly suitable, if these issues were addressed I would certainly pay more to stay there again as I loved the area so much. overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return but would have to consider whether or not we could cope for two weeks with no air con, sockets and mirrors though.

This is a lovely house in the middle of Valldemossa, with other houses close by, and the pool area is a little overlooked from the road. The town is a two minute walk from the house and there are good shops and restaurants, and a good market on Sunday morning.

We experienced some noisy evenings, particularly during the fiesta for the towns patron saint.

Our frustration was with the agent who manages the property - they didnt answer any of the emails I sent them before our holiday and then they made a mistake with our arrival time, so the house wasnt ready on time.

Great apartment great location !! Suitable for all, couples, families and groups. Close to all amenities and about a 10 min walk to the strip and BCM square, however the apartment itself is in a quiet area. We would return.

We had a lovely holiday 2 min from the beach only couple minuts from the airport very good bus connection to the Palma de Mallorca and other lovely places ...So lovely owners very helpfull flat clean perfect for family friends ...
I wish stay there forever 10/10 recommended

We arrived at 1am and had difficulty finding the property. We called the contact number on the booking form, but it was unavailable. The local police also tried the number but confirmed it was incorrect. This was very inconvenient  - to the extent that four adults had to sleep in a car from 3.30am [when we gave up looking], until 7.30am when it got light. We were then able to locate the property.
The property was clean throughout, but the kettle and iron both leaked. The gas ran out [there could hardly have been any gas in the bottle in the first place because we rarely used the hob]. Bedroom 2 was infested with ants. they were coming though gaps between the door frame and the floor. We purchased some sealant and ant powder [9 euros], and remedied the situation. On a lesser note there was one wine glass [oh, and another in the microwave when we arrived, which contained rancid milk].
