We spent a fortnight at Yamacevler (Yamaç Evler) villa in late August and early September of 2013.  We used the villa as a base camp for one-day trips in the area of Bodrum peninsula and nearby country as far as 150 miles away. Boat trip to an island of Kos (???) was easy to arrange too. 
The villa is located in a quiet suburb in a recently developed part of Yalikavak. Description of the property is correct and local property management provides excellent service for customers.
There are good fish and traditional restaurants near the port of Yalikavak.
There is a public transport (dolmus) but with a car one may explore the country. The roads are good (and improving) and there are many places worth seeing.

We had a wonderful holiday in Yamacevlar villa. It is bright, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The views are outstanding especially from the roof terrace and although slightly out of the main town this did not cause a problem as there is a regular dolmus service or a taxi is cheap. The water refill service is very efficient as is the rubbish collection service. The villa is very good value for money and I would recommend to friends and return ourselves in the future. If you are looking for a quiet residential area with a traditional turkish house this is the villa to book.

Such a nice change to be away from the usual holidaymaker accomodation and in a more natural surroundings.  

The house is sweet and comfortable and quite well located a hundred yards to get the dolmus bus at the bottom of the hill, wand quite walkable distance to town and beach.

It is the best place to rest for people who prefer a quiet holiday away from the busy resorts. The villa is wonderful, the beach is with few people, the neighbors are respectable Turks. Weve been there for 3 weeks, with two children, 7 and 3.   
And if you want good fish restorants and activities, you can find it nearby, in Yalikavak, just 5 minutes to drive. 
Well keep the only fond memories and that Turkish summer will be warming us during our long cold winter.

just got back from a wonderful two weeks at this villa, the house was gorgeous full of charcter, i was very surprised when we arrived as the villa is so much bigger than we expected excellent value for money. the villa is in a gorgeous location with wonderfull views.   we brought our two kids aged 8 and 11 and they loved it, they played every evening with the local children who lived in the complex. staying in this villa gave us time as a family to really relax. we didnt have a car but to honset we didnt need one as the local domas is right on your door step.. you will love the town full of gorgeous restaurants and places to sit and watch the world go by. i would highly recomened this villa we hope to get back next year.
