We are Gina and Nick and we live in Richmond upon Thames, just outside of London. We have been in the Fine Arts and Publishing business all our working lives and ran a galleries in Richmond and Bath for 32 years. We bought Yellow Bird in 1999, after a few holidays on Nevis. We loved the Oualie Bay area, but didn't want, or see the need to dig up more land to build a house . YB was for sale, albeit a bit neglected and dated, but in a wonderful position overlooking the sea and with a mature garden. So we just set about doing a bit of remodeling, turning it from a slightly cramped 2 bedroom house into a much more spacious 1 bedroom property. We added the decks, balcony and pool and then had to say sorry to the garden which had got a bit trampled in places, so stuck lots more plants in! The garden is now a wonderful haven for birds and other wildlife. Yellow Bird has been renting out since 2000 and seems to be very popular with many returning guests each year.
