A lovely spot for a few days away together. Definitely need a car to get to the villa but well worth it. Owner waited to let us in when we arrived and showed us around, she was very friendly, even though there was a bit of a language problem between us!
Kitchen facilities/utensils etc were quite basic, the grill was a little difficult to use on the cooker and the cupboard kept hitting the curtain pole whenever you opened it but overall, no big problems.
Was lovely to have a private jetty where we could have a quiet drink and look out to sea.
We would absolutely recommend the area and this villa to others. Thank you for making our visit to Croatia enjoyable.

This was a beautiful property and the owners lived next door and were always available for anything. They came to pick us up from the airport which was very nice and gave us a lot of information about how to get into Dubrovnik and what things we should try. Even though the villa is close to the airport we were never disturbed by any noises and it made for travel back very quick and easy. Right near a grocery store where the people were very friendly as well. Wonderful experience and would definitely go back.

Villa Becir is located overlooking the beautiful tranquil village and bay of Molunat. This really is a great place to come to escape crowds and noise. The villa owners were very welcoming and helpful, keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay and communication prior to our arrival was very good.
The villa itself is very comfortable with excellent outdoor facilities - pool, BBQ area, terraces and garden. The wi-fi coverage is good and bandwidth is fine for checking emails, facebook and catching up on news.
My favourite element has to be the view - which is stunning. I was up dawn on the first morning to see the sun rise over the peninsula to the East and watch the small fishing boats set out for their morning catch and there again in the evening to watch the lights come on around the edge of the bay.
My next favourite element is how crystal clear the water is - fantastic for swimming from the tiny beach in the village centre and full of fish so bring some goggles or a snorkle.
A couple of minor things to be aware of - the area can have the odd power cut - especially after a storm so bring a torch and make sure you can find the candles and matches in the villa. If anything this adds to the atmosphere and helps make the night stars seem even more numerous and bright! The air conditioning units are very effective - we found a couple dripped water after about 40 minutes of use but that was quickly sorted out by the villa owner. There is also an occasional drainy smell in the bathrooms but its not unbearable.
Despite being only 20 minutes drive from the airport - you would never know you were that close, it feels like a different world.
There is a very small shop in the village with limited stock - get there early to get fresh bread. There is a reasonable supermarket in Gruda on the road to Cavtat about 15 mins drive from the Villa. Molunat also has a couple of restaurants and a bar. The one 2 mins walk from the villa is a perfectly nice place to go if you dont fancy straying too far, friendly service and a lovely spot overlooking the bay. Cavtat is 25 mins drive - just past the airport and has lots of restaurants including the excellent Bugenvila - you will need to book for dinner. The food, service and location are excellent. Also good for lunch. 
There is a good ferry service from Cavtat to Dubrovnik - it takes about 50 minutes and takes you right to the heart of the old city. That said Dubrovnik is only a 20  minute drive from Cavtat, traffic in early September was very light, parking was OK if a little expensive. Dubrovnik can be very crowded but the view from the walls is superb. Some good restaurants - the Arsenal in the harbour is very good but there is a wide choice. Check out the Buza bars - get there early to get a seat to watch the sunset with a suitable drink in hand.

We had seen forward to meeting this house with such a promising desciption, and we were not disappointed.! With its panoramic view over the sea and the pretty bay of Molunat and large and well equipped outdoor areas is was the perfect surroundings for a family (or friends) holiday. We wiould be happy to recommend tihs place to others.

We had a lovely stay in this villa in June 2013. The villa is spotlessly clean and well equipped, the pool warm and inviting. The owner lives next door and both he and his brother are very helpful and brought us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden as well as restocking the fuel for the BBQ.
The airport is very close by but air traffic noise is not a problem, there is a really good shop just 2 minute walk away that stocks amazing ice cream :)
The villa is ideally situated for a trip across the Montenegro border and the village of Molunat, just 10-15 minutes in the car is a must see with excellent swimming and snorkelling. 
All in all a wonderful holiday, made better by the excellent hospitality of the Croatian people. Thank you.

This is an excellent property for 2 people, but would be a little cramped and inconvenient for 4 or more so 5, as advertised, because the extra beds are in the living/dining room area. The owner, Alouis, and his grown up family live above the property and are very friendly and hospitable while maintaining a discrete distance. Alouis invited us for drinks and an excellent home made Burek for lunch on one day and speaks very good English. A really nice guy! There is also a small studio property adjacent which shares the same terrace but this was not a problem for us as it was unoccupied except for the last day of our stay. The property is next to the main road, but to be honest we were not disturbed by any traffic noise. We hired a car in advance. With hindsight the bus/ferry service up and down the coast was so good that we only used the car on a couple of days.

The apartment was as described,  very clean, and nicely furnished. We were invited to a welcome reception in the garden by Mario, who provided a nice cold beer along with a cool melon. The apartment was part of the house in which Mario and his family reside, so he was always available if we needed any help or assistance. We sat on the balcony every evening to watch an array of beautiful sunsets. The owners do stress that a car is needed, but we were able to get around without one, although the walk back did involve climbing a steep hill. We actually enjoyed the walking to and back from the beach as it maintained our fitness levels and burned off some of those extra calories! The apartment was situated in a quiet area and we had an undisturbed sleep every night. A well stocked supermarket is located 10 minutes walk away and was much cheaper than the one in Cavtat centre. The friendly owner gave us a free transfer to the airport in her car and we are looking forward to returning next year.

Thoroughly recommended

We liked the house -roomy and well equipped. We loved being able to walk down steps from the pation and swim out into the bay -surface often as smooth as glass. Although there were houses each side it felt very private and relaxing.

We were there the last week in May - out of season so the village was quiet - narrow road  round the bay with pleasant houses each side. There are lots of rooms in the houses there so it may be busy in the summer.
 You need a car - Cavtat and Dubrovnik well worth going to and we filled up a week easily. But longer might be a problem. You are very near both the Bosnia and Montenegro borders but we did not have green card insurance to drive there
