Our stay was enjoyable, we found the villa spacious and comfortable but needs attention to basic maintenance and some updating (e.g. kitchen floor flooded on emptying the sink, loo seat loose). We were not able to spend as much time in the garden and pool as we liked due to the noise from the renovation of a nearby villa and the mosquito problem. However, the views from the top terrace were amazing and the marina and beach ideal for taking boat trips and lazy days on the beach. We had some delicious meals at the local restaurants. To make the most of the area you need to have good driving skills and strong legs!

lovely large villa in beautiful surroundings.  Met by the owners to settle us in and welcomed us with a bottle of homemade wine - tasty for making sangria.  The pictures are a very accurate view of the rooms and outside.  The only downside was i had expected to have aircon in the bedrooms and its only in the lounge and hallway so can sometimes be a little hot.  Although this wouldnt stop me renting again.  The pool is brilliant, very clean and comfortable sun loungers and 2 very big umbrellas. The Sorrento company where you have to go and pick up directions are not great.  The directions were terrible, we ended up driving all over the coast when its really only 15mins drive from Sorrento.  If using a sat nav make sure you add Sant Agnello not Sorrento in the town before adding the address.  this way youll find it easier (tip - once you get to Colli Di Fontanelle, turn left at the supermarket, its not obvious, then continue down the road for some way and youll find the villa on the left just before the road ends)   Enjoy

Fantastic location. Sant Agata is a small hill top town, very Italian. Lovely walks on traffic-free paths. (Sunflower guide is very useful). Easy train journey from Sorrento to Pompeii. Good bus links to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi. We did not hire a car, no need. Villa is furnished well, very much as a family home. Nice pool, though in the shade morning and evening. Sorrento Holidays and villa owners helpful and friendly.

LUXURY VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL IN SORRENTO CENTRE

Firstly we would like to thank Berta from Sorrento Holidays for her professionalism and patience after we were heavily delayed owing to us missing the turn for Castellamare di Stabia.  Her help in directing us to the property was invaluable, as it would have been exceptionally difficult to find, especially in the dark. The property is tastefully decorated and generally in good repair, the double bedroom is of ample size, as is the twin bedroom.  The single bedroom however is exactly what it is as with the exception of a set of drawers and the bed that is all there is room for, it is very small, and does not have an opening window.  The property is advertised with air conditioning, but there is no evidence of any such equipment ever being installed and far from being cool at night, it was very warm in the last week of the holiday, requiring the windows to be left open to keep the temperature bearable.  There is a pool as we were informed shortly before our departure from home, but this costs €150 per week extra, payable locally.  It is one of the “above ground” plastic framed pools, maybe ok for bathing and playing, but not big enough if you serious about swimming, if you have children they would need supervision whilst using this facility. 
The view from the patio or balcony however, makes it all very worthwhile, and is for us the key asset to the property. Many hours were spent just gazing out at passing boats and ships on the beautiful Gulf of Salerno. 
Is it value for money? We think so, but we think that the owner (a really nice guy, but he never introduced himself as anything other than the owner) should maybe rethink the charges for cleaning €70 mid fortnight and €40 final clean and the €150 per week for the pool to incorporate them into the overall price as people do not want to spend their holiday cash on “extras” at the holiday home, that should all be concluded before the holiday starts.

The apartment is rustic but it is extremely spacious and would accomodate a large party easily. The terrace is large and catches the sun for most of the day while the trees provide welcome shade and the views are wonderful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The lane leading to the property is extremely narrow and steep, a very small car is needed to drive up to the property. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again. It is necessary to go into sorrento to the agency before gaining access to the property which is a bit inconvenient if you are using public transport but they did provide useful information such as bus times etc. and as we were arriving late they purchased essential groceries for us.
Overall a good holiday and I would recommend the apartment

The villa was beautiful and a lot bigger than it looks on the photos. But it isnt 7 bedrooms, we got there and only had 5 bedrooms, they opened up another bedroom on the lower floor for us but we could only stay in it a couple of nights as it was damp, freezing cold and all our clothes were wet from the damp and we couldnt breath properly so moved back upstairs (we nearly went to a hotel!) which meant people had to share that shouldnt have to grown men sharing a double bed! Also watch out for the extra costs - 100 euro deposit per person (75E you get back per person) also there is a tax and you have to pay for your gas and electric when you leave. Finding the place was a nightmare too as you have to meet a lady in Sorrento town then another lady nearer the place. The gardner of the prooperty could not be more helpful with bags, the BBQ area, fresh towels etc he was a diamond and always there to help. As I said the villa is amazing and has all that you need some areas just need some fine tuning!

The property was excellent -  a great location with more inside and outside space than we realised from the photos.  We had great views, plenty of sunny and shady positions and an easy walk to the beach and restaurants.
We had some problems with the cooker and these were sorted out the next day.  My only small comments were that the kettle doesnt get up to a hot enough temperature so we used a pan on the hob.  And we were charged Eur70 for heating and air-conditioning, neither of which we used at this time of year.

The apartment was perfect - comfortable, ideally situated, and the balcony was amazing! The description was accurate, although the "smaller second bathroom" does not actually contain a bath, which was a bit awkward when all 8 of us were staying there - fortunately only for 3 nights out of 14!

The service we had from Bertha and Ersilia was excellent - they transported our cases for us, arranged a wedding car, let us use their fax machine when we had an emergency, and were helpful at all times.

If you want to be in the right place to explore the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Naples, this is a brilliant flat to rent.  Ideally located on the harbour from which boats leave to all the above, and within walking distance of the station and the charms of Sorrento, combined with stunning views from every window (across the bay to Vesuvius and up and down the coast), it was perfect for our needs.  You need to be realistic about the number of steps in Sorrento, though and to the top of the building where this flat resides.  Also, if you are a lover of quiet lie - ins this might not be for you:  the boats start to leave at about 8.30.  We liked witnessing the hussle and bussle but it might not be to everyones taste.  Excellent care from Sorrento Holidays.  Id definitely use their recommended taxi service too.
