We had a very comfortable 10 days at Mems lovely Villa early in September. Beds were comfy and and there was plenty of space for a family of 6 adults to spread out ... nice having separate balcony off master bedroom, large table on veranda overlooking pretty garden and good size pool with plenty of sunbeds..and shaded cushioned kosk beyond. The free WiFi was very reliable. A good sized kitchen with the addition of bbq made catering easy although there are so many reasonably priced good restaurants to choose from in Dalyan all within short walking distance. Location is excellent. Quiet yet close to everything... the alternative board walk long the river into town is a particular bonus! Small shop at end of road for fresh bread every morning very convenient. Mem was a very good host.. easily available and the few requests we had for extra cutlery, water jug, teatowels were very quickly sorted. He was very helpful when one of our party had a problem with airport transfer which didn't arrive - thank you for sorting it out Mehmet ! We had a great holiday and hope to be back again soon.

We had a great fortnight at Mems villa, which is exactly as described. It is a semi detached villa but the adjacent property was vacant during our stay which meant we had the pool area to ourselves. The pool is one of the best I have experienced, a good size, fabulous temperature a crystal clear. There is plenty of space around the pool with good shaded areas so wouldn't have been an issue if next door had been occupied. The villa itself is spotlessly clean with 3 good sized, air conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, both lovely wet rooms with powerful showers with easily regulated temperature. The villa is located close to Mems own restaurant which serves delicious food from a varied menu. There are other restaurants close by on the walk in to the centre of Dalyan which is a 7 minute stroll, the river is slightly closer, all together a perfect location. Beware Dalyan has lots of private villas spread over a wide area and some are a long distance from the centre of town!
Mehmet is an attentive host and is available to resolve any issues you may have. (We didn't have any!).
Dalyan itself is a great holiday location. In August if is extremely hot but the breeze that builds up from around 11.30am is refreshing. A car is not required unless you wish to venture further, but to be honest there isn't a lot in the local area to visit. Most of the excursions offered by the tourist shops are to the Fethiye area which is a good 60 minute drive away and further to places like Saklikent and OluDeniz. A boat trip along the river and up to the Lake is essential to marvel at the beautiful scenery and enjoy a relaxing day. Dalyan is a lovely holiday destination and Mems villa a perfect base. Having been to Turkeh many times, the reduction in tourists this year was noticeable undoubtedly due to the recent political situation. Other than this there is no sign that anything has changed or any reason to be concerned. Turkey has always felt and continues to feel a safe place and personal security is no different than it is in the UK. Please do not be put off. The country is rugged and beautiful and the locals very friendly. The reduction in tourists will undoubtedly affect their livelihood which is a real shame and I hope for their sake that it picks up again soon.

We spent two weeks in THe Stone House, and had a fabulous time. The villa was well equipped, having a washing machine was very useful. Our grandsons were particularly pleased with the pool, which was cleaned every day. Mehmet, the owner was very happy to help in any way possible. His restaurant, Kervensary, serves excellent food, which we highly recommend. It was so good we are returning to the Stone House this October.

Have just returned from a lovely relaxing 2 week stay in the Stone House. The Villa is in an excellent position, only a 10 minute stroll into town but in a very quiet area. The villa has a lovely large pool which was cleaned daily. The pool though is surrounded by pebbles so flip flops are required as they get hot. The villa itself is clean and airy. All the bedrooms have air condition which is a welcome relieve in the evenings. The cool box, juicer and coffee machine all came in handy. The bungalow has its own kitchen which means anyone staying in it does not need to come into the main house.   Mehmet the owner is very helpful ,he runs a restaurant just down the road were he can be contacted at any time should there be any problems. 
Would highly recommend.

We found the Stone House to be just what we wanted, very spacious and well-equipped and fabulous value for money for our stay in still-warm early October.  We had specifically wanted to self cater in order to make the most of Turkeys amazing fresh fruit and vegetables and the kitchen facilities were much appreciated. Someone called in every day to make sure everything was working, to care for the pool and generally attend to any maintenance issues which might have cropped up.  The location was perfect a few minutes walk from the centre but far enough to be free from any noise or bustle.  Having visited Dalyan numerous times in the past, this is the place we would choose for any future trips.  The owner was friendly and helpful, couldnt do ebough for us.  Highly recommended!

Very pleased with this villa apart from one detail. The advert did say the villa was fully air conditioned but in fact it was only bedrooms that had air conditioning. However the villa has plenty of trees in the grounds and there is always a gentle breeze which is a great help in the very high temperatures in August. The villa itself had good amenities, very comprehensive welcome pack which was much appreciated, toilet paper, soap powder, plenty of towels and beach towels, DVDs and English books to read! The bathrooms were nicely modernised. The setting of the villa is very private and well screened and in a nice location very close to shops and town. Mehmet was a most helpful host and allowed us late checkout which again we really appreciated. It was a lovely holiday and we would love to return one day. Thanks Mehmet!

We had a fabulour stay at Mems Villa, and all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Mehmet was always available and ensured we had everyhting we needed to make our holiday as relaxing as possible. The welcome pack was a real treat having arrived at 1:30am, and the provision of washing up liquid, washing powder, toilet paper etc mase life so much easier and no real need for a large supermarket shop. The villa had everything we could ask for, and a really nice pool area to sit and relax. The property is well situated with an easy 5 - 10 minute stroll into the centre, and is in a nice quiet part of town so not noisy at night. Dalyan is a really nice town, and being so close to Dalaman made airport transfers short. If you like good food, relaxing atmosphere, and in particular fantastic wildlife such as turtles, birds etc this is a great place to visit. Woudl definately recommend and we would certainly consider returning.

Mehmet is a great host, he cant do enough for you.  The villa is great,  I really dont think the web site pictures do it justice.  We had 3 teenagers with us and we used the bungalow as well as the house, it was perfect.  We BBQd quite a bit and had everything we needed.  Mehmets restaurant is good and is only a 2 minute walk from the villa. Dalyan centre 6 minutes walk away.  We would return tomorrow!!!  Diane Pettitt - Lincoln. UK

A very nice villa within a short walk of the centre (although not very well signposted roads so do check your route).

Overall, we had a very good time. The beds were comfortable, the majority of the villa very clean (see below) and the air conditioning worked which is all that we needed!

Unfortunately, the downstairs lavatory had not properly cleaned (there was hair and stains on the bowl) and the stench was unbearable so we could not use it.
We reported it to the owner who took a look and suggested flushing every hour (we didnt do this although we did go in &amp; flush it from time to time). This didnt impact on our holiday too badly as there were only two of us (the main issue was that we had to climb up marble stairs to go to the loo after being in the pool which was a little annoying). This would have been a much greater annoyance if wed been a larger party or if wed done any cooking (as sometimes the smell wafted into the kitchen).

Additionally, please bear in mind that the owners seem to come round almost everyday so if you want a private break without this then you may wish to look elsewhere. This is particularly the case, as I asked not to be visited on our first morning (and popped into the restaurant when we arrived late the previous evening to hand over the money for the transfers to make sure we wouldnt be disturbed) but still received an unexpected visit.

I went to these villas with 12 family members. There was ample space for us all. The villas were well equipped and in a great location. I would definately recommend them. The owners were fantastic with communication before and during our stay.
