A wonderful holiday!
Fantastic communication from Ian and Kate right from the outset. Super helpful and flexible. The property is lovely, spacious, everything works, amazing view from sparkling pool, very easy access to lots of lovely restaurants. Highlight for us was 2 minute walk to river where we spent lots of time sitting in shady bars turtle spotting. We would love to come back!

Villa Harika, Dalyan

A spacious, clean and homely villa with a beautiful garden, patio area and relaxing pool.

We had a brilliant two weeks staying in villa Harika. Ian was really helpful when we were booking the holiday. The villa has everything you need for a great holiday and is set within 5mins walk from the river and ten minutes from the lovely restaurants and shops. The pool has lots of sun beds and is surrounded by a well maintained pretty garden with views of the mountains in the distance. This was our second time staying at the villa and we would love to go back again in the future.

I couldn't recommend this villa more - I'd give it 10 stars if I could. The villa is beautifully furnished with everything you could wish for.
Great private location, but within walking distance from Dalyan Town Centre.
Will definitely be back!


Stunning Villa

This villa is by far the most beautiful I have stayed in and the location is just perfect. The view from the pool area of the mountains was absolutely breathtaking. Everything about the villa is outstanding.Very spacious, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. Each room with ensuite makes it quite unique, as I have stayed in other villas with only one room having ensuite, and a communal bathroom for rest of the guests. So this is a big plus point. The attention to detail is perfect, and it is a credit to the owners Ian and Kate for the high standards they provide. The location was ideal, with a short walk to all restaurants and shops, but quiet enough so no noise pollution which was fabulous for relaxation. Dalyan is definitely in my top holiday destinations, with it's beautiful scenery, and is a very clean resort. Really can't wait to visit this villa again next year and would highly recommend to anyone. Anyone visiting Villa Harika will definitely return. Thank you Ian and Kate for the wonderful opportunity to visit this fabulous place.

This villa is in the perfect location a 4-5 minute stroll from the start of the restaurants and shops. The villa itself is large well laid out and has everything that you need, the rooms are of decent size and the air con works a treat but most importantly for us it is spotless.The villa gets the sun from early in the morning until it goes down so it really is a sun trap, the balcony is massive and the furniture outside has a quality feel and was probably where I spent most of my time in the sun it is a really nice place to chill and soak up the rays.
Top pool, good barbecue and nice cool area to relax.
We always book villas and try and holiday at least 3 times a year but I can honestly say that dealing with Ian was a pleasure nothing is a problem at all.
When we return to Dalyan we will definitely be contacting Ian to book this villa again.


Excellent place ! Really feels like home. Kate and Ian have done a great job in decorating their Dalyan home and garden. The house is beautiful, everything is there and the garden and swimming pool are so nice that you never want to leave this place anymore. A real must-go location ! 


Beautiful villa in perfect location

We stayed at 'Villa Harika' for one week in June. As soon as we arrived we knew we had made the perfect choice. The villa is large, with 4 ensuite bedrooms, an extremely comfortable downstairs lounge and a TV lounge with balcony upstairs. The kitchen is very well equipped as is the utility room, with all appliances and everything you could possibly need. The villa has a lovely 'homely' feel. Outside the gardens are beautiful and well maintained as is the fantastic swimming pool. The view over the mountains from the pool area is absolutely breathtaking! Although the walk into town (restaurants, shopping etc) is only a matter of minutes, due to the villa's location nights are really peaceful and quiet. Ian and Kate kindly arranged transport from the airport and back again for our return to UK. They also left several necessities in the fridge due to our late arrival which was a great help. We also had a visit from a member of the local management team who asked if all was satisfactory. We cannot wait to return to Villa Harika and cannot recommend it highly enough. Fabulous!!

We have had a wonderful time at your beautiful villa and would like to thank you for letting us rent it for the week.  We were last in Dalyan 4 years ago in the Sultan Palace hotel across the river but it was so much nicer to be on the main side and in that position.  Beautiful views and we saw some wonderful birds (my husband is a keen birder).  We hope to return with the family again if we can.  I loved the decor of your villa and fell in love with the bedspreads with the gold thread!  Maybe if we visit again you can tell me where I can buy one?! We had some lovely meals and I guess at the end of the day our favourite was the restaurant at the bottom of the lemon grove, nice waiters and away from the crowds, although you are definitely at the right end of Dalyan! Villa Harika was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there - after last year at Jamara it was just like coming home! The room at the top was great but we couldnt get the satellite tv to work much to johns frustration as he is a news junkie! However the children enjoyed watching DVDs when it got too hot for them.
The last couple of days there was a problem with the pool and we had to phone Oruc as the water was cloudy - we went to the beach as it took a couple of days to get clear again. One of the patio chairs collapsed the first night we arrived - luckily john was able to land on the floor without spilling a dro p of his beer! We put it in the shed out of the way - all in all it was a great holiday and we all had a very restful time.
We asked Oruc for a price to be put up for our last day as we had a whole day to wait for our late flight and they offered a villa for £250 for the day - needless to say we didnt take them up on their offer!! We spent the day at the BC Spa for a very reasonable rate as they were not fully open - so it was a luxurious end to our holiday.
All in all we had a fabulous holiday at your lovely villa and hope to visit again.

Please dont think we didnt have a nice time, we had a fantastic holiday, the best ever!  The villa was stunning, you really are so lucky to have it, I didnt want to leave, none of us did. I have photos of it on my facebook and so many people are asking me how they go about booking it as its so gorgeous!
The mix up over the overlap of guests came from when we informed you of our flight times and you said the times were fine as there was no one else booked in after us.  It was all sorted and absolutley fine.  
We will defiantly be booking again with you  in the future, if youll have us!!
Once again many thanks from all, we really did have a great time!

JUST TO SAY WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME IN TURKEY. WE ALL THOUGHT THE VILLA WAS  AMAZING - PLENTY OF ROOM WITH EVERYTHING WE NEEDED.
DALYAN WAS A LOVELY AREA WITH THE WALKS BY THE RIVER WHERE WE FOUND A LOVELY LITTLE PLACE WHERE WE HAD DELICIOUS ICE CREAMS AND WATCHED THE FISHES.       THE BEST WAS THE PANCAKE SHOP  -LOVELY PEOPLE ALL VERY FRIENDLY. 
NONE OF US WANTED TO COME HOME.
 THANK YOU FOR LETTING US USE THE VILLA AND WE HOPE THAT WE CAN GO BACK AGAIN.

Hello – I’m back but don’t want to be!
We had a fantastic time at your lovely villa – so many thanks to you and Kate for letting us stay.  Weather was v good – just a couple of showers but nothing too much.  We did boat trip, mud baths, and generally chilling and eating and it was really really good.  Folks were all really friendly and it was all just fab.  The new hotel just down by the river – BCSpa – was handy for Turkish bath and massages and all nice and new and clean.  Nice pancakes there too.  
In summary – it was excellent holiday in a lovely villa.  We would definitely be interested to going for the same time next year if you’d have us back.  Do let me know what we owe for getting window fixed.

As usual Dalyan was great. It was our 4th year in a row but for some reason it seemed to 
go faster than ever.  The villa was great again and the money spent on the balcony was well
worth it.  We did a few new things. The jeep safari was great fun, visited Tlos and went up the 
hill to a fantastic restaurant where us boys swam in ice cold water. Then went tubing which was good 
and the kids loved it.   Enjoyed going by bus to the East of the beach which is very chilled out . Also had a couple of lovely boat trips.  Karen is already planning for next year .

The holiday was absolutely superb thanks. Your villa was brilliant. Incredibly peaceful relaxing beside the pool and on the balcony surrounded by all the colours in your garden with the views over the orchard on to the hills. You must be extremely proud of what you have put together.  Really impressed with Dalyan as a resort as it does not have the built up, holiday centre commercial feel to it.  Activities for the week included the walk to ruins past the tombs, dolmus to the beach, boat to the mud baths with a swim in the lake and a cycle to the thermal baths.  We are all still on a high from the holiday but suppose I will start to come down quickly as the weather and prospect of returning to work tomorrow kicks in.

We had a great holiday in your Villa and in Dalyan. The transfers worked like clockwork and the villa well equipped and clean.
We have been very impressed with the warmth and friendliness of all the people and the excellent service, wonderful food, etc. We have eaten well, but also very healthily, so much better than our experience on other holidays.
Given that we were there at the height of the season, the town and around didnt seem busy so very relaxing. The villa is nice and close to the town centre, while still quiet and peaceful around.
There is certainly plenty to do from the town so we didnt feel the need to stray too far from Dalyan this time. We did the boat trip to the caves and around the bay which was very relaxing. Also the mud baths on the lake, plus a few lazy trips to the beach.
I think it wont be our last trip to Turkey, and will certainly recommend your villa and Dalyan. The kids are already asking when we are going back!
