The property was convenient for activities in and around Kenmare.  We had some issues with the internet access while we were there, but overall it was a satisfactory place to stay for a few days.

Ideal location for Kenmare- only minutes away by car.
beautiful views &amp; deer visit every day.
Property excellent value and condition.

Only minor things to improve on :-
internet is via dongle- which needs to be supplied / asked for when picking up welcome pack from local pub ( excellent food)
Could do with more towels supplied in bathroom ( or have spare in cupboard)
If staying for 2 weeks- cleaner still comes on a friday to renew towels etc.

Nice house. Stunning views. Love the deer in the garden. Owner is friendly and always available to help. We had a wonderful week and really enjoyed the nearby Gleninchiquin park - highly recommended.

This property was a class apart. The norm for holiday rental properties is to pack you in for maximum return on investment. Everything about Bun Cill Athta is the opposite, large double bedrooms with equally large en-suites and exceptionally large open plan living, dining and well fitted kitchen. Windows everywhere provide masses of light that only adds to the feeling of space. Combine this with a secluded, but not too remote, location that has well planned outside space to appreciate the stunning views and you have a winner. We would visit again and recommend to anyone without hesitation.

We felt very much at home in Carrig Beag and Kenmare. The house provided everything we needed to feel comfortable and Mr. Foley was very friendly and helpful at all times.

Barr Cillatha is a bit remote from Kenmare, but we knew that when we booked it. It is in a beautiful position overlooking Kenmare Bay and surrounded by the mountains. We were fortunate to have excellent weather for the week we stayed there, so the views were stunning. The quietness of the area was another plus for anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We were visited by a few of the local wild deer on several occasions also. The property is spacious and comfortable and everything worked. We made it our home for a week and with everything else that the holiday offered in terms of good weather, scenery, good food, excellent guinness, friendly people, our choice of base for the week was excellent.
