Wonderful home to stay at . The owners are wonderful.  Easy access to everything Mijas has to offer . Home has pool pool table ping ping tv and wifi . What else do you need ? Very quiet at night . Will stay there again when we return .

Villa Higueras, Fuengirola

The villa was a good size and above all very clean and well prepared. This villa is a cracker for the summer. The owners communication and help on all levels was fantastic, so don't shy away from booking this villa especially 9 months of the year when the sun shines and temperatures are high. The final thing to add is its a good walk, a v good walk to the beach!!!

Our 3rd visit to this well equipped villa.  
The villa is situated in a quiet suburb about a 5 minute drive from the nearest shops and restaurants. It has an enclosed garden area, pool, BBQ and garden furniture enabling outdoor dining. The interior is spacious, very clean and equipped with all the essentials. The friendly owners were extremely helpful and live just a short distance away. This visit, we stayed for 3 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay. A variety of lovely beaches are a few minutes drive away. Our favourite area was by the Castle in Fuengirola where we enjoyed coffee at Terazzo Latino each morning, following our stroll along the beach. For lunch we highly recommend Restaurante Botavara which serves the best fresh fish in town. There are many rental properties around to choose from but you would find it difficult to beat this one.

Very good.  The villa was clean and tidy. Linda the owner was there to greet us on arrival. The area was very nice and we enjoyed our trips to El Coto and Bars etc. Would say a car is a must as recommended by owners. Villa was a great place to chill out, inside and outside. Thanks Linda.

Lovely Villa, perfect setting.  Lovely Villa, lots of space, all the amenties you could wish for. Wonderful location, easy to get to the nearby towns and villages. Shops and restaurants within easy reach. BioParc in Fuengirola recommended by Linda &amp; Patrick (lovely, friendly and helpful owners)

Our stay at the villa was honestly perfect, the villa is exactly what is says it is on the website, very well equiped and homely, i would stay here again and recommend to anyone, we are a family and found it perfect for the children also with a lot of space, we have stayed in other villas in the area and rate this one at the top, the owners live nearby and are on hand if you need them, but they dont invade your space and very pleasant. the villa all round is spotless inside and out, spacious and a lovely relaxing time was had by all. many thanks to the owners. we had a bad stay at another villa last year and they have restored our faith in honesty about what the villa is. PERFECT

I stayed at this villa for 2 weeks with my husband and 3 kids (12,7,3) this villa is perfect for families and couples.

The day we arrived we had a problem with our car hire and we had to get a taxi to the villa (50 euro from airport) I emailed Linda straight away and she came to the villa within 20 mins to help us out and then Patrick took my husband to the airport to pick the car up , I really don't know what we would have done without them .

My first impressions of the villa when we arrived was that it feels a lot bigger inside than the pics look , we felt at home straight away it really is lovely . In the evening you also feel really safe as all the windows and patio doors have guards over them that lock as well as the locks inside , the area itself feels really safe anyway it is a really fabulous location as it is very private with no one looking onto you . We had a car which I think you really need , fuengirola is about 10 mins in the car and mijas pueblo village is about 10 mins away too which I recommend you go for dinner it was stunning ! There is take away places about 5 mins away if you don't want to cook too. We did a large shopping and made a few bbqs, we all loved it . The kids have a fabulous time in the pool it was a really great size , it feels a lot bigger when you are actually in it.

Overall this holiday for us was amazing .

We have been staying at various properties in this area for the last 18 years and this villa gave us everything we needed. In a small four villa gated community we found the peace and quiet we had previously missed. Not a sound at night. Perfect. It is within easy reach of the main routes to everywhere on the coast without the inconvenience of negotiating heavy traffic. The villa itself is very much a home with every facility of a home. The kitchen has every piece of equipment for cooking and has the luxury of a separate utility room. The three bedrooms are all comfortable and blessed with real pillows and rugs. The two bathrooms are more than adequate. Outside there are plenty of areas to follow the sun or shade whichever you prefer! The owners cater for your every need and as they live only a few minutes away quickly respond to any queries you may have. We had a wonderful three weeks at this villa and whereas on previous biannual visits to this area spent a great deal of time travelling away from our accommodation this holiday we rarely travelled far as the accommodation catered for our every need. I would highly recommend it as a holiday home.”

“We have just come back from this beautiful property ( 09/04/2011 - 16/04/2011 ) and the villa is more beautiful than the pictures can do its justice, this property has absolutly everything you need, the sun is in the garden from morning to evening. the pool is great even for the kids as it is graduated 1 metre to 2 metres. It was so private as it is totally un-overlooked and totally enclosed by lovely high green hedges and as its an electric gated propery, very safe and secure. Sit outside and have your breakfast and all you can hear are the birds singing .We hired a vehicle, but to be honest we hardly used it as everything you need for a holiday is right here in the property. There is an Iceland within 15 minute drive ( with all english speaking staff ) which has all your food requirements and as the villa has everything you can just relax. Linda & Pat are the best hosts and ensure your stay is one of the best, Pat came and vacumed the pool so it was lovely and clean. This is one place that we can thoroughly reccommend and we will definately be coming back
