The property was perfect for our needs.  It was great having the swimming pool - we used it every day.  The property was very well located - approx 5 km from Lake Bled but within walking distance ( approx 1 hour).  Great location for discovering the Triglav area too. We tend to eat in so found the kitchen well provided.

A beautiful chalet in breathtaking surroundings (the photos do not do not do it justice!). Perfectly located to explore the surrounding area. Ideal for couples wanting to get away from it all and enjoy beautiful long walks. Well definitely be recommending Slovenia and the chalet to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely stay  and the welcome hamper - it was much appreciated and a lovely surprise after a long journey!

We stayed for one week with our 9 month old baby. The cottage  is perfectly located for exploring the region.  It was extremely clean and very well equipped - we were very impressed. We had a few days of terrible weather and spent these at home. A great place to relax during the rain. Would love to visit again as one week is not long enough! Thank you

Beautiful clean and comfortable apartment. Personal friendly welcome by Ralph - food and drink starter pack much appreciated. 
Wonderful area with stunning views and many walks from the apartment. Lovely village quite close to Bled but so peaceful. Easy travel to surrounding areas both by car and public transport.
The apartment was spacious and the beds were comfortable
The pool is super as is the adjoining barbeque area.
Ralph and Jo were really helpful with local information and lent us a great book of local walks.

We booked the upstairs apartment because it seemed ideal for a couple, and it was located in a small quiet town. This turned out to be a reality. We knew we had picked a good spot when we began to contact Ralph before we arrived. His e-mails were friendly and helpful. We were worried about not having a car, but this turned out not to be a problem. The bus service was excellent. and we could get to the hikes we wanted to do easily. Our favourite hike was the "loop" to Lake Bled and back. The book Ralph and Jo have in the apartment was excellent to explain the hikes nearby. The pizza place near the bus stop was great for a beer after a day of walking we also enjoyed the food and atmosphere (picnic tables outside). The apartment itself was very nice, and had everything we needed. The view (as many other reviews mention) was gorgeous. We were also worried about being in a building where other apartments were located, but, again, this was not a problem. We didnt hear anyone else, and we felt we were in a very private space. Ralph and Jo obviously know how to treat people. They were always available for questions, but they left us alone unless we needed them. Jo was also very kind about acknowledging our anniversary, and this help make this stay even more special. This stay has really encouraged us to find apartments when we travel in the future.

This property was everything it promised to be and more. Everything that we expected was available, but the homely, friendly welcome that we got from Ralph and Jo made it a lot more special. The apartments are beautifully looked after and the pool and its surround make it the perfect place to relax. We has a great holiday in Slovenia and, no small part is this down to the accommodation and our hosts.

This is an excellent, beautifully equipped appartment in an outstanding location with easy access to Lake Bled and the Triglav National Park. This would be an ideal place for a family with such a range of activities to take part in, but we were an older family (two in our 50s and one of 86!) and we also loved it. The weather was hot when we stayed in early August, and the pool was a welcome extra for cooling down at the end of a busy day.  Ralph and Jo are on hand to give helpful advice about the area (thanks for the tip about the fireworks at Lake Bohinj on the night we arrived), but you can remain private if you prefer to. Our first time in Slovenia but we highly recomment this stunningly beautiful country and hope to return.

Holidayed here from 14th to 28th July 2012 with 2 teenage boys.  Apartment 4 at the farmhouse was everything we could have wished for and more.  Great location within easy reach of Bled and surrounding area, fantastic views from the balcony, well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, enjoyed the pool and the BBQ area and the lovely rustic garden.  Our hosts Ralph and Jo were most welcoming and gave good tips on places to visit, local restaurants etc.  Would most definitely recommend!
