We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. It was spotlessly clean, and all facilities were as promised in the advert. The owners were helpful, quickly responding to a simple question we had, and even stopped by one day to make sure everything was ok and that we had everything we needed. There was a welcome pack of groceries - the core essentials, including food and drink and much appreciated after a long flight! I couldn't fault the villa and we're already planning our trip next year!

Excellent facilities with superb pool and garden area. The directions and key access facility was brilliant and so accurate. Inside and outside the villa was well looked after, clean and tidy. I had every confident in allowing my two year potter around without getting hurt. Everyone from couples, groups or families are catered for with everything thought of. This villa really made our holiday, we hardly left. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Overall, the bungalow is fairly comfortable for a small family (two parents with max two kids). In our opinion, the property is overpriced as it is not furnished enough for a real self catering (one pan, one saucer, no wine glasses). But a walking distance to the beach could balance it for someone. 

Be noted there is no dishwasher in the kitchen!

Car is mandatory if you want to get the most of your vacation, however living there without the car is also viable (10-15 min walk to the beach, 15-20 min walk to a good supermarket, 10-15 min walk to tourist area with restaurants).

The aircon unit in master bedroom is located on the wall, opposite to the bed, which makes sleeping there not too comfortable.
The pool is excellent and well maintained. However, the property management is too offhand and not very responsive even to a simple and reasonable requests. It was not cleaned properly on our arrival, but the weekly cleaning was done perfectly.

Villa Victoria is a very spacious, clean property near the beach, pub and grocery store. Effective air conditioning helped keep the place cool in very hot weather. Quiet neighborhood.

We have just returned after two weeks at this property. The villa is lovely, well furnished and has everything you need but there were too many personal items belonging to the owner left around to feel comfortable. Im sure other people would have used the baked beans and the alcohol etc left in the cupboards but it felt as if we were intruding into someone elses life. It states in the description that there is Sky TV but we couldnt get it to work and as there doesnt appear to be a satellite dish or viewing card that would probably explain why! Also says there is a barbecue which we couldnt find and only after the gardener came did we see the pool shower which was hidden in the bushes behind the shed. Only 2 sunbeds round the pool, one of those badly torn when we arrived, although very comfortable chairs also supplied. 3rd bedroom also has no air-con. All in all a lovely villa although a little further out than we would have liked and feel a car is really necessary.

On a positive note, the view from the garden out to sea was spectacular, by day or by night and we enjoyed the fantastic sight of several shooting stars during the August meteor shower.
Waking up to the sound of the waves was amazing and my husband and I enjoyed daily swims in the ocean.
The terraced rock garden is lovely

The villa was very clean, but this was let down by the black mould around the bath and showers.

It was nice that all the little extras like pepper, spices etc, barbecue charcoal and pool inflatables were left after previous clients - we have stayed in villas before where we have watched the cleaners remove every single item to the boot of their car, even full bags of charcoal and brand new lilos!!
The 2 pairs of "swimming shoes" left behind were invaluable as the "private steps" down to the ocean soon become a rocky, slippery scramble

Irina who manages the property is delightful, full of information and attended to any problems immediately.

On the not so positive side, we would not have labelled this a "luxury" villa as the furniture, particularly downstairs, is a complete mish-mash of things that appear to have come from random houses elsewhere and there are hideous, old fashioned pictures that are completely unsuited to a holiday villa (think of your Grannys house!!!!)

The bathrooms are basic and the shower cubicles are HORRID - tiny, plastic enclosures and mould stained. My 6 3" husband could not fit and was thankful that one bathroom had an over-bath shower!

On arrival we had been left the most disgusting thin, grey, scruffy towels I have ever seen, really only fit for window cleaning or pet drying.
Irina brought new towels the next day when I contacted her, but the same scruffy towels were left again on cleaning day and again had to be replaced after a phone call.
A small thing, some may think, but not what we would expect on any holiday, let alone in a villa which is described as luxury

Also, there were very few glasses and few of them matched, but again Irina brought new ones as soon as I alerted her to the problem.

It would seem that things are not checked and replaced or repaired between clients, which is rather worrying as far as breakage deposits are concerned.
One of the bed posts had been broken before we arrived and the damaged part was just left in a drawer!
Also, the previous clients had broken the large roller shutter from the living room patio doors and a few days into our holiday, 4 men just appeared and began trying to fix it, without ever asking if it was OK to come and do so, which we found unbelievably rude

The main down side to this villa is that it is nowhere near as private as we had been led to believe. It is semi detached to the villa next door and their garden cuts diagonally into Elenas so you are aware of the neighbours at all times.
Worse, and VERY disappointingly, there is a public path/steps (one to the sea, one to all the villas in the block) down 2 sides of the garden and we felt VERY exposed, particularly as everyone using the paths/steps would stand and stare into the garden and pool area!! We felt like monkeys in a zoo!!!!!! 

All that said, we had a wonderful family holiday. We so love Cyprus that we have now bought our own villa! We are very excited about it, but I am particularly glad that I never again have to book a rental villa and then wait and see how accurate the descriptions of it really are!!

Villa Elena Sunrise

The entry in the main site just doesnt do this villa justice. Its situated in a quiet and well-kept residential street. It is 100 metres from the nearest supermarket and Italian restaurant and 60 metres from an Irish bar. Dont worry though, there was no noise or disturbance throughout our 2 weeks. The house is quiet but not isolated and just an easy 10 minute walk or 2 minute car drive takes you up to the main town. 
The house covers a double plot so there is plenty of space to sunbathe around the pool, enhanced by the mixture of lemon, orange and fig trees together with the bougainvillea and hibiscus shrubs. 
It is a 15 minute drive into Kato Paphos and Sea Caves is just a few minutes away. 
Irina was very helpful when needed and the provision of wi-fi, as this review proves, is very useful. 
All in all, a great holiday and a villa to be recommended.
