The villa was lovely, the views were amazing. Everything you need in a villa was available. There was enough room for 8 people, (4children, 4 adults). Directions to the Villa were very well signposted. Friendly pool cleaner with excellent knowledge of the local area which came in handy. 
Would recommend the villa to families and would love to return one day.

This is the perfect place to use as a base to explore Crete. You need to hire a car due to its slightly remote location but we saw this as a definite benefit. The villa is spacious, well equipped  and you can find shade at any time of the day. The air conditioning and the pool are essential as we went in August. Overall, would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Villa was lovely, a bit isolated but that suited us. Adele a short drive (or long walk) away and had everything you needed including a Lidl. Tavernas lovely, (check out The White Lady) and beaches great. Bedrooms in villa spacious and plenty of hanging space for clothes. Kitchen easy to keep clean and has everything you need. Plenty of Crockery, glasses and cutlery. Also lots of plug adaptors in villa which was very handy.  Pool lovely, warm and very clean. Only problem we had was getting into villa when we first arrived as key safe wouldn't open. Took a little while to track down owner but eventually everything sorted ok. If you have a problem the cleaner lives two villas up and has spare key.

We stayed in Villa Jenna for a week in Early August and had a lovely time. Communication with the owner before our holiday was excellent, and when we arrived we were more than happy with our home for the next week. Located on a hill, the view from the villa is stunning, and there are several balconies to enjoy it from. The pool is great and the outside areas have plenty of loungers and chairs. Inside, the villa is well decorated with nice tile floors and plenty of double doors to open to let a breeze in. Kitchen is large and open to the living area, which is more social for cooking when on holiday. Upstairs, the bedrooms are minimal but with plenty of storage, coat hangers etc. There are large balconies for both upstairs bedrooms too - absolutely lovely. Wed recommend paying for the air con in the bedrooms in mid-summer though, it really does help.

Though Villa Jenna is some way out of town, you never feel too remote as there are two other villas close by. However, the area is very peaceful. A car is most definitely needed in order to explore the local area and the rest of the island. But if you wanted to leave it behind on occasion for a trip to the local resort of Platanes, taxis are only about 10-12 euro each way.

Villa Jenna is priced very reasonably, the owner is helpful and Tony, the local villa manager is also a really nice chap, who couldn’t have been more helpful. Location is great with a car, villa is clean and pool, balconies, patios etc are great. There are plenty of lovely beaches within 20 mins drive (Episcopi is highly recommended – sandy beach, a few miles long with tavernas and free sunbeds). We’d also highly recommend a visit to the lake, it’s absolutely beautiful and fantastic fun to hire a pedalo with a slide.

The only reasons we haven’t given Villa Jenna five stars is that we found the beds to be much harder than what we are used to, which did affect our sleep. Also, we struggled to find a few basic cleaning items but Tony did help us out when we asked. The lack of Internet access was disappointing too. Whilst it didn’t really affect our holiday, it is useful to get online to get tips and advice on what to do and where to go in the local area. All in all though, Villa Jenna won’t disappoint, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

We had a great time at Villa Jenna. We were blessed with perfect weather (around 28-29 degrees) every day, and had a very relaxed time.
The Cretian driving is something to get used to!

Our stay at your villa was excellent.  The villa was a nice size and accommodated the 7 of us well, allowing us the opportunity for group gatherings or more private moments on the many balconies.  It had all of the facilities that we could have wished for and the large tv was indeed a treat.  We particularly enjoyed using the table in the porch for our breakfasts as the pool was inviting and the views were fantastic. The location was ideal as we were close to the beach, with its unrelenting wave battering sea which the three teenagers particularly enjoyed, and a comfortable drive away from the many places that the adults wanted to visit. The little taverna up the hill was a delight and we felt very local.  The tavernas in town were also fantastic and catered very well for the mixed needs of our party - teenagers, vegetarians and those of us that wanted to be more adventurous in our tastes. All in all a super location.

We booked Villa Jenna because our first choice property near Almirida was not available for the first week of our holiday. We loved the villa, which is well appointed and in really relaxing location with great views from the balconies and terraces (so many to choose from!). We look forward to returning again but for a longer period.

Was nice after a hard day treking around to come back to this villa. We had family staying in hotels down in the towns and what a relief we had this villa and not a hotel. 2 things to note though, internet access is not broadband but by the looks of things you need to bring your own modem cable, and second it was a little tricky to access as the roads arent 100%. Apart from that I would recommend to anyone to stay here as it is good value for money and what doesnt appear to be mentioned in adverts is that the view is amazing, the top bedrooms you wake up to a view of the sea and the sunny blue skies.

After staying at Villa Jenna for a week in 2008, I said that we hoped to return for a longer holiday - and this year we did. The villa is perfectly located, for a quiet relaxing vaccation, with probably the best views in Agia Triada now that the overgown olive trees have been removed from the east facing side of the villa. If you can get up early enough, the sun rising from behind the mountains is stunning. Am I up for a hatrick of visits to Villa Jenna? You bet I am!
